No Tyler Johnson still. Does Reichel get to join them on the road trip?

Wow, how can none of the Hawks announcers not know the rules on penalties and icing? If there's a delayed penalty, the faceoff ALWAYS comes into the offensive zone They also said its Mitchell’s first NHL goal. What a bunch of yahoos

imo i'm not sure mitchell belongs, korch and isaak i'd say yes. IMHO, it's korch, isaak, and Vlassic mitchell was on the ice tonight for 9 high danger chances against (led the team) and on the ice for just 1 high danger chance for chicago...which was most likely his goal.

L.A. sure acts tough, is there anyone on that team that can back up the posturing? brendan lemieux has 5 majors, only 3 others with 1 major. if brendan lemieux was like his old man, likely turtled most of the time anyways. edit: lemieux a scratch tonight anyways. First I’ll say I’m never a fan of the wings… And yes that was a terrible brutal cheap hit on Draper.. and yes when McCarty went after him in that game he turtled.. McCarty gave him a good beat down, but when they met again.. I gotta give Claude his due… he dropped them with McCarty and he handled himself pretty good.. I absolutely enjoyed his brother Jocelyn when he was on the Hawks.. decent player would knock you on your ass and he could handle himself too. Thanks

Mitchell gets easily pushed around and the 2nd goal against you can see he doesn't have much reach. If they do keep him he should be on the 3rd pair with a big stay at home guy like Vlasic, EDM, or Allan. And I say the big 3 on D for team Canada are the future 3 on D, like Seabs, Keith, and Hjalmarsson. But good to know there's other's who'll be part of that core like Vlasic, Phillips, and Rinzel. Rinzel had 1g-2a over the weekend to get him to 20pts.

Murray mentioned the Kings got away with 2 penalties before their first goal but it was actually 3, a few seconds before Johnson was tripped Domi got rocked in the far corner and he didn't touch the puck and it wasn't near. It's one thing to miss 1 penalty but 3 is ridiculous.
But it helped the Hawks lose in regulation so I shouldn't complain.

One thing is for sure. Hawks got get on the shnide here again. They currently sit 3rd last. Not a good spot to be. I do not want the chance of falling out of the top 3. Let’s hope we see a turnaround in the next week here!!!

Let’s hope we see a turnaround in the next week here!!! Hawks are going to keep losing, the problem is the Ducks are not going to win any games anytime soon. They do have a couple games coming up against the Hawks which all they have to do is lose those. Puck drops and both teams stand there and wait for the other to take it and score while everyone stands there.

Scored 44 of his 80 total goals with Hawks, originally drafted by the Blues in 1986 10th overall.

Keith and Hjalmarsson were 2nd and 4th round picks, no one thought they'd be big parts of 3 cups. I'll still stay out on my limb and think that Keith and The Hammer eventually, when compared, will be thought of as better dmen than any 2 of the three, Phillips, Mitchell and Korchinski. Hey, I could end up wrong, but that's my gut feeling. In part, that might have something to do with the fact that the 3 newbies will be playing behind a much worse offense than the ones K and H played behind. Again, that is my prediction and I will stick to it until shown otherwise.

Or, they could just let the puck drop and settle down while the skaters do their best Olympic skating imitations for 60 minutes without ever touching the puck. The problem will be that, with the shootout, one team will have to win and get two points.

Tyler Johnson injured? There goes the iron-man streak!LOL!
What's five million between friends?
With Tinordi due back soon, maybe they'll be no young D-men in the lineup making young D-mam mistakes..........more vets for the rebuild.

If McCabe and/or Murphy are moved for pick(s) it would free up room for Tinordi and Mitchell.

imo i'm not sure mitchell belongs, korch and isaak i'd say yes. IMHO, MItchell will get traded, most likely this year, next year at the latest More likely to see him not offered another contract and become a free agent if I was a betting person. For whatever reason the new management does not view him like the previous one and has put him in a difficult position. The kid is frustrated and when he gets a chance with the big club it is for a game here or there and I am sure his confidence and mindset are not in the right place to be effective. On the surface seems like a good kid and teammate but looking like another draft failure, when at one time some compared his skill set and potential to Maker.
