now that would've been something to score on his first shot on goal of his career and the last shot on goal in his career on the same ice would've been pretty special alright.

Toews goal tonight was his 200th on home ice.
That was a tough game to watch but I hope Toews retires and walks away on a "high" note, scored in his last game and had a great farewell. His body can't handle a full season and he has nothing to prove.
Greatest Blackhawks captain of all time.

I always thought Owen Tippett(1.5M next year)could put it all together at some point after watching a lot of him in Florida the last two years, the big kid got his 27th tonight @24. The Flyers pried Tippitt and a 1st from the Cats even though Florida was Giroux's only approved destination as a pure rental.........go figure.

Shout out to my woman for taking me down to the game and protecting me during game. Still cant believe 2 HOF players thrown away like a piece of used gum with the flavor sucked out of it. 44 with another tough game would like him to get a little faster. I was one who thought C.Jones had played well recently boy did he go back to bad Caleb tonight. This has been a rough year wanted the thank all of you on this board with helping me get through this. Most of us had a couple of tantrums this year got mine out of the way early. Be even rougher next year hope you all are still around !!!

watched the whole post game.
I believe that was Laz with the total dickhead question early on, but not sure.
whomever it was can pound sand and cover another team.
class until the end. sure sounded like he might just hang em up. a few weeks off might change his mind, though. or make him more certain.

Thanks GT I didnt find the question to bad. It needed to be asked. Just want the best for him!! I didn't care for it. especially if it was who I think it was, cuz Tazer has been good with him and he didn't need to ask 19 that right after his last goddamn game.

That last question was pretty dumb, do you think you're a different person than the guy from 07...of course he is.
And he said he always thought he'd retire a Blackhawk and still does, that says a lot and I hope he does.

Someone in the media always dredging for some dirt but they weren’t going to get any last night. While I had hoped he would be signed for a year or two, I think last night was well done by the org and he appreciated it.

Got another point to end a glorious season. Expect more of the same next year with some gradual improvement after that, until it plateaus short of becoming a serious threat to win another Cup.

Just finished watching the game....2 fucking minutes away from locking in to 31st position and they tie the damn game. Now they have to rely on Columbus getting at least a point tonight.
Just couldn't back off for 2 damn minutes

on the out of town scoreboard, hagel has his 30th and the jackets and pens are in o/t. Too bad he’s playing for such an unlikable franchise, but that was a nice piece of deep cut scouting by the org.

Let's get real here-----assume that whoever they get to draft this summer is the equivalent of drafting Toews, even if it is Bedard. Which version of the Hawks will be more ready to move up in the NHL world, the post draft of Toews Hawks; or the post draft of whoever it is in 2023 Hawks? Answer: The post-draft of Toews Hawks. The upcoming Hawks are just sights that will either be real oases or mirages and no one knows which; and given the performance of all the other teams that have been in the Hawks current position in the last 20 yearts, it is more likely to be mirages, but good luck to 'em anyway.

All I was pointing out was the late goal in their last game "could" come down to having draft one or the other prospect. By some accounts Fantilli has been listed as the second best while Carlson could be #3. Is there a gap between 2 and 3, not sure and probably will not know for a few years. I will though take my chances if we luck into and get Bedard. I believe comparing players and which ones are closer to emerge much quicker with their teams is purely speculation at this point as many other factors could in to play, positive or negative. The rebuild is just beginning with really Seth Jones mainly due to his contract and Reichel at this point most likely to be here in the next 3 to 5 years. I am sure there might be attempts to move Jones in the 1-2 years as well.

High risk but potential of very high reward. Can KD “politically” afford this risk? I agree that it is doubtful but it is very intriguing.
