Well at least I got 3 goals …. Does anyone know what happened between CB and Martin as they were skating off from the 2nd I know that at least words were said and CB gave him a good slash that’s why CB gave him the stare down after disallowed goal but I did not see what started it… That kids got it all pleasure to watch 21 and counting

Kurashev has fit in very nicely with Bedard. But on the other hand, Bedard is fuckin unreal. He just knows where the play is going and where to be. I have no problem saying he’ll be the next guy to get 150 points!!! Kurashev is credited with the assist on Bedard's goal but not the goal Foligno scored. It sure looked to me that Kurashev got his stick on the puck before Bedard passed it to Foligno - but "whatevs" I guess. Kurashev would have gotten an assist on the disallowed goal too. He fits in real nicely on Bedard's wing. Foligno is a nice placeholder but hopefully KD finds a solid LW to play with 98-23 next season.

I seen Chevy as more of a role player. But he’s showing a lot of skill I never thought he’d have. If they get a solid line mate to round her out. You never know what can happen. Be interesting to see where the Hawks pick this year. I believe the Hawks given the chance, should take the huge kid Cayden Lindstrom. Need some size up front!!!

Real good they are a great fan base some of there stuff is a little cheesy like a AHL team but the rink is nice but it’s in the middle of nowhere right next to NC state football stadium.

You never know what can happen. shevy's on a career best 6 game point streak. 1g, 7a in those 6 games. he's still 24 for another 8 months. he's not huge at 6' 190 lbs. but he isn't scared of the board work behind the net or in corners...no hesitation to go those places at all. his points/game numbers have slowly been trending up each of his 4 seasons. yeah, it's been slow up to this year but at least the numbers consistently rising and not dropping. 20/21 .30 points/game 21/22 .31 22/23 .36 23/24 .65

Biggest thing I noticed this year, he’s strong on his skates. He used to fall down a lot but this year he’s upright more and really using his speed. He always tempted with flashes, was a creative passer and finally putting it together got him into the new year at close to a PPG player. Slowed down as the team got depleted but Hall going down freed up a first line slot and he took advantage to build a nice rapport with Bedard.

I’d have to think with AA and Hall back for a year, the team will be much better. Won’t be door mats with teams wiping their feet. If they can do a matchup and get Bedard away from the top D pairings, it’ll lead to more scoring. But right now, they have no other line that can score. Maybe the odd player chips in a goal here or there. But there’s no other line that’s a threat at the moment. Hopefully next year the D will be better, and they should be with experience and a bit better forward group. Hawks play in their end too much. I also think adding from the system will lead to better on ice results. And addition from subtraction is gonna help. Megna is obsolete farm machinery at this point. Not a fan of his play at all!!!

At least Bedard is doing it. Since coming back from the broken jaw, Bedard has sure proven his season was no fluke. Now, if this franchise can get him some quality forwards, it will be fun to watch him really play the game, as originally intended.

The bolded is the crux of it. Nobody looks good when the other team has the time to methodically break down their defense. An influx of talent might loosen the reins a bit. T.J., Beauvillier, Blackwell and Sanford are UFA next year, Tinordi, Zaitsev and Megna as well. Anybody there worth resigning? I’m thinking not. Maybe Blackwell because he’s cheap. Reichel comes back, maybe Nazar gets a sniff and EDM and Dach get their feet wet. They’ll need to target a couple more free agents and overpay again, who those will be I have no idea.
