2 wins in a row for the southern bloom.
he wasn't spectacular but he was solid enough to get the W.
season series win against the 'yotes. only other team i think we have won the series from this year is toronto, not 100% sure though.

Went to catch Dune at a matinee. Looks like I missed one of their best performances. Can’t wait to watch the highlights.

Bedard with 19-27=46 points in 51 games. That’s very good for a fresh 18 year old. McDavid was born Jan 13 and he was 19 for half his rookie year. Still young. But gotta say, 18 for your whole rookie year is tough. Very tough. But he’s looking like he’s 22 or 23 out there!!!

Call me a male chauvinist pig if you must - but hearing that female screech owl shrieking through my TV speakers about had me throw a shoe at the TV. There's only one setting where excited female vocal tones are acceptable and calling a sporting event isn't it.

Did my thread get deleted? I did. I saw there were no posts yet in it so I created the usual one. Next time I'll just merge them together.

Genna still does in game activities she is cute as all get out. Goal announcing was done by a boy part of there greatest day ever kids do most of the in game jobs.

His second goal was a thing of beauty----the way he toe dragged to avoid the sprawling dman and then waited until he had the exact position he wanted. Zona must have left Chicago with a sense of just how bad they are. It couldn't have felt very good. But, the Hawks had to have a feeling of elation which hasn't happened much this year----good for them. Unfortunately, the Hawks lost their two point cushion with the Sharks and are now tied for the most ping pong balls in points. The Sharks do have two games in hand, which doesn't mean much when they lose 2 out of every 3 games they play.

I'm sure I'll sound like an even bigger prick than I normally do, but how many of these "Best Day Ever" games are they going to do? They already had at least one before this, I just figured that would be the end of it, but this was the second one. I'm sorry, but it's annoying. One game is fine, but I don't need to hear a kid doing the announcements for multiple games or whatever the hell else goes on. On a somewhat related note, there were 2 kids sitting on the glass, who were standing and jumping around for what seemed like the entire game. If I were sitting behind them, I think I would have pulled a Larry David and lost it on whoever the parent(s) were.
Dare I say it, I didn't mind Vosters this game. I think it's because Grimson actually talks during the games, much more so than Pang, ipso facto, Vosters doesn't talk as much. I always liked Pang, but I haven't been impressed with him since he came to the Blackhawks. Grimson also highlights the behind-the-play sequences that I want to have fleshed out, his selections are much better than Pang's this year. Neither aren't nearly as good as Olczyk, but all the same, I've liked Grimson. I wish they would just stick with this setup, and that includes in the studio with Boyle and Granato. But anyways.
Nice to see Bedard explode after all the frustration he's displayed the last few games now. I really didn't think Donato had that sort of laser-beam in him. Soderblom had a couple dandies with the pad. Anyways, finally a fun game to watch. AZ really melted down after that fluke goal by Bedard behind the net, nice to be on the other side of that equation for a change.

CB looking a little buff there. Could use a tan though. I showed the special lady here the video and told her she gets some bonus shirtless Bedard in it. she said he isn't ripe yet, needs a few years to mature.

Hey, 300 section -- no big deal. I mean let's be real, those seats suck anyway. But if you have kids doing that on the glass, I don't know, that's a little much for me, lol. I really felt for those people in the 2nd row. At least they were seated more or less in the neutral zone, but still.

They need to learn to sit down during play, and not lean forward like I saw a guy doing, I think in the same area as the girls.

Its about jumping up and down and dancing and getting on the big screen. Trust me UC is louder during breaks than during games. Also sorry you think my seats suck but I kinda like them! As far as the sitting down and shutting up thats gone also missed one goal yesterday because someone was walking up during play. Different crowd lots of newbies hockey edict out the window something will need to be addressed before they get competitive again. Very glad you left that shit site and came back here!!!! Its a changing of the guard at the UC things will get better when the product gets better hopefully.

Funny story about missing a goal. I had a buddy who went to the game, I want to say against San Jose, regular-season during the Cup era. First period just started and he was drinking a fresh beer, and when the Hawks scored their first goal, he raised up quickly out of his seat and accidentally spilled his beer right down the jersey/back of the guy sitting in front of him. Honestly, it wasn't that bad, maybe a decent trickle, but the dude acted like it was his whole beer or something. So he huffs out of his seat and goes to clean up I guess, and while he's gone, the Hawks score two more goals. Dude was pissed, lol. Bad on my friend's part, but then again, I think the dude over-reacted a bit. Got a little beer down your back, big deal, right? It's not like you're wearing a $400 suit or something. Guess that's easy for me to say.
