Medical update on MamaT, she is now semi-awake and responsive. She got pneumonia and her oxygen levels had dropped to a dangerously low level of mid 50's. They have her on a respirator and sedated for the last 2 days. All while having several tubes in her feeding fluids and meds into her. So I have been going back and forth to the hospital and not here as much as normal. But you guys are the best and keep the boards flowing smoothly. Unlike our team, "Hot Steel on Sand". And on a side note, while my mom was going through this my youngest brother decided to have a heart attack last Sunday. Mild one but still a concern. Another side note, MamaT turns 86 today, so birthday party in ICU. WooHoo!! I have my laptop at the hospital so I can pop in here time to time. No response necessary to this post, thanks for the well wishes. And MamaT says, #FireBowman!!! Damn man! Do what you gotta do and I hope your family gets well soon. Just read this! It's been quite awhile for me. Anyway, without even reading forward, you're in my prayers. |

why do i get a notification when there's a new post in the bear's thread?
does this happen to anyone else?
edit: nm...i guess i had it bookmarked somehow, managed to unbookmark it so should be ok now.

Also check your settings about any email notifications. nothing to do with the emails. just a notification on these boards like you'd get for a reply or a p.m. idk how but i must have bookmarked the bears thread somehow. |

Cheers mate. edit: i might add that while switching to the desktop version on your phone is easy, switching back to the mobile version is a bit tricky if you don't know where to click. on my phone at least it's at the very, very bottom of the desktop page and very hard to see. it says "switch to the mobile version". it might be different on other phones i guess...this was just my experience. |

Seeing a new page before coming to the boards, from pro-boards requiring sign in or sign up before this board ever pops up. Not sure if anyone else is seeing this and it could be a good or bad thing. The good thing is it likely eliminates the spammers coming on here and peddling viagra. The bad news may be, because it's not showing what board you're signing up for, this one doesn't gain anymore members.

I've seen those in the gameday thread, just didn't know if you made the change, or if it was ProBoards doing it. |

At least that's what I tell the wife. although it may result in more fish hooks in the hands/legs/eyebrows, or more gear foolishly lost over the side, i do think the benefits outweigh the drawbacks when staying well hydrated while fishing. |
