Does this mean we can null and void Bowmans last 10 years of trades and get our players back? Not only do we get to unwind the last 10 years of trades, we get two collect all the Stanley cups won by the other teams, since, without a doubt, the Hawks would've won them. |

Stan Bowman: "I do not condone or tolerate harassment or assault of any type. The Blackhawks have engaged an outside legal firm to conduct an investigation...for now, I have to respect the litigation and pending review. I'm not going to be able to make any comments about that."
Now we get to read his statement 2 months later. It was all McD fault.

Im happy hes gone and its very unfortunate that the sexual assault happen. But it would even be sweeter if he was fired because of his hockey moves. Also, should we expect the US hockey to kick him off as the GM? Whats going to happen to the coach? I agree it would be much sweeter to fire him (or have him force a resignation) due entirely to his hockey acumen and such. |

im seeing a Kyle Davidson is the interim GM for now, anyone know anything about this guy? No one knows much about him. He could be very smart. But I think for the Hawks they’d be best to hire a replacement quick. Kyle literally has 4 months of assistant GM work under his belt. So put him on the shelf soon. Don’t want him making a deal!!! |

Here's where the Hawks ORG F'd up at the time.
They hear from the player through the system what happened.
Instead of firing the guy on the spot and backing the player
with any charge he would have to report to the police.
Instead they just fire the guy and tell everyone it's been handled.
All blame falls on Rocky, McDonuts and Bowman. They were the top 3 dogs in the ORG.
The rest of the other guys were just fearing their jobs would be over.

I’d have to think the cloud will be there as there will be a lot of reporters asking a ton of questions. Even Toews is in protocol now. Maybe they want this to blow over and keep Toews and Kane away? I’m not a fan of how things have gone down. But we have to think not having a lead in 6 games to start a season is no fluke. Losing is one thing, but never having a lead this season is awful. We’ll see what happens. But the Leaves are starting to ramp up and the streak may continue!!! |

It’s a good day to get rid of an absolute asshole that hasn’t been wiped. Clearly Scambo was a fraud, and I’m happy the org got rid of all of them. Probably too late, but it’s a good day because Rockwell told the teams lawyers to reach a settlement with the accused. So I think the healing will begin now. And the healing on the Hockey Club can begin. The hockey being played certainly takes a back seat to the horrible actions by Aldick. However, now is the time to look forward and hopefully Blackhawks hockey is a nice distraction for the shit that happened. Upward and onward!!! |

So this has come full circle. Back in 2009, Bowman screwed over Tallon by failing to get the QO into the NHL offices in time, costing the Hawks huge in cap space by having to sign the players to more then they would have earned had the QO been received in time. That incident cost Tallon his job and handed it to Bowman. It was the first of many back stabbing incidents in Bowman's time with the Hawks. Little did we know until now that shortly after that, he took part in the conversation, as the now 1st year GM, about the abuse of a player. Fast forward to today, where rather then take responsibility (as he should have done for the QO) he again puts the blame on someone who was his superior at the time, McDonough. First Tallon takes the fall for a Bowman mistake, now another of his bosses was at fault. Never fully Bowmans fault, there's always a reason for the mistakes that took place HE was directly involved in.
I've disliked Bowman since the Tallon incident, and over the years that has grown ever so strong. But his persona is shining thru full and bright now. He was scum in 2009, he is scum now. I can't say much pre-2009 because he wasn't in the forefront of the Hawks organization. I can only guess that during those years he was plotting to get where he got, and now, look where it's gotten him. I could care less if he ever works in the NHL again, I'm only happy he's finally been found out.
He wasn't just a bad GM, he appears to be a horrible human being. And finally he got what he deserved. But still back stabbing others to the end!

I think they wanted to rid themselves of the front office because of the bad hockey decisions but this is a way for them to accomplish that and look like they’re doing it for the proper reasons. A fortuitous happenstance for the club. But seriously, in business or politics, you rarely see the head of the snake fall. This is as close as it gets. There’s likely more fallout to come as all the deniers will be called out again. Sad display for what was for awhile the franchise face of the NHL.
Now let’s hire the right people, get a fresh set of eyes on the operation from minors through the scouting department all the way up and get this back on track.
