won't see DK at the UC until march 3rd.
14 back to backs if i've counted correctly. longest streak of road games is just 4 (twice) and the longest homestand is 5 games (twice as well.)
there is supposed to be a second schedule drawn up without the olympic break in case the NHL and the olympic committee fail to come up with an agreement.

If I counted right, they have ten 3 in 4 days. Like usual, that's probably at or near the league high, just like back to back games. It'll be more compressed if NHLers are in the Olympics.

I misread GTs post, I was thinking that's pretty compressed for a non Olympic schedule.

The Oilers are once again under 10 back to back games, Oiler fans say it's because they have to travel more, why does Calgary have 14 when they're only a 3hr drive south? Plus the Oilers play a lot of teams that played the Flames the night before.

shaw (jan. 13th) , hjammer (march 3rd). and seabs (jan. 31st) will all have retirement ceremonies this year.
the home faithful will get to celebrate kane's 1000th game on oct. 21st.
not sure why there's no crawford ceremony. bad blood perhaps.
edit: forgot the pat foley night on april 14th.
