(you can see "curiousity" on it briefly at the end of the video) word is the sound on that tweet i copied is faked. apologies. edit: looks like the tweet i posted has been removed. |

The fights attract more fans than hockey. just a guess but it's likely the biggest underground sport in the world. it's everywhere here in asia and pretty much everywhere else in the world i reckon. i saw one back in '83 in martinique of all places. it was really brutal, i wouldn't want to watch another. it's illegal here in thailand (and most places i think) but i bet even in my little village you could spot a couple dozen of these bamboo cages with prize fighters inside.  |

i'm all for laughs at a funeral. it should be mandatory.
i don't enjoy british humor that much at times, but i've always been a fan of monty python.
if you pulled the stunt below at a thai funeral, they'd be running for the hills in terror.
i think nearly everyone believes in ghosts in my neck of the woods at least.
good fun, though.

I saw the Trailer Park Boys movie today. I'm gonna have to check out the TV shows. the t.v. series is better. it's on netflix here in thailand now so i imagine you got it over there as well. be warned....the humor is quite deep and quite complicated. these are a couple of my favorite clips. this one's funny because julian always has a rum and coke in his hand. of course he doesn't spill a drop. of course, there's some touching scenes as well. like when ricky and his 8 year old daughter go on the patch together to get her off the cigarettes. that's some good parenting there. |

anyways, i'm not a royalist or anything but i thought this was a funny story.
on a sidenote, what a shame prince andrew caught covid and has to miss the platinum jubilee celebrations. just bad luck i guess
