Kings are a good test for the Hawks. They are a notch (or a couple) below the top tier teams so more talent than Hawks but they can be had.

Looks like the same lineup. Regula should be in over Caleb but I guess Jones is getting assists so that makes up for his bad play in his own end. And Blackwell brings a lot of energy, he should be in over Jujhar.

Just curious how far the line Scott Foster is before they have to make him the backup? lol

And they did it with veterans (Doughty & Kopitar) still here that can help and make a difference as they younger players continue to grow and with a good prospect pipeline as well. This is the model that Hawks should have used IMO and maybe we are not talking about moving 19 & 88.

Yes, he gave up 4 goals but when it was 2-0, he made couple of nice saves and recall Shaw almost winning it only to be denied by him.

Thanks Tman well for those who were worrying about the tank November is here I would be shocked if they won more then 3 games this month. I hate watching Danault play against the hawks just think what should have been. Go Hawks !

So, what's wrong with the other Jones, the $9 million man? Why is he missing from the lineup?

There was talk around L.A. a couple of years ago about them trying to trading Quick for Mrazak when he was in Carolina. I think they were trying to shed salary and were willing to add a prospect for what they thought would have been an upgrade at the time.

Nearly halfway thru the game and a total of 17 shots on goal between the teams. Hawks with only 6

soderblom is a very "economical" goalie, as in no wasted movement.
if he puts on a half a mile going back and forth in his crease a night, stalock would be putting on about 3 miles.

Nearly halfway thru the game and a total of 17 shots on goal between the teams. Hawks with only 6 second least shots for per game, only arizona has less averaging just 22.3. lucky for us we've got the 3rd highest team shooting %, scoring a goal every 8 shots (12.5%) funny thing is arizona is ahead of us at 12.9%. sabres lead at 13%.
