How many teams trade away 1st's and prospects on pure rentals EVERY year at the TDL and how often do they work-out? How many guys did the Leafs add? What else can Black Hawk's fans do now-a-days BUT laugh at other teams.........those laugh's might be echoing through an empty barn though. If Patrick Kane wasn't 100% back in the '15' PO's,then leading the team in goals, points and GWG's(tied w/Keith)was even more impressive. It does take a team to win a cup and let's stay honest here: How many cups does this particular team win if those lotto balls bounce differently back in the fateful year of '2007'? 'Big Hoss' will undoubtedly be the first in 'bronze' and to be honest, the 'Mickey Mouse club' runnin' the team might be the second!LOL! True, but right before the cap came into play I remember the rags trying to buy every piece of high-priced talent for a cup win, including Jagr...and it failed.
And of course luck comes into play, sometimes it works for us, sometimes against. Hell, luck was on our side when we got Keith. Imagine for a moment if he got picked somewhere in the 1st round. Sounds just like what the Wings were doin' during the same time-span but it worked out better for the Wings as a rule.......it did work in NY back in '94' if I remember correctly too. LOTTA luck involved with picks my friend......people forget that. Let's hope Jr has a horseshoe or two up his ass!

We "cleared the decks" of the great Patrick Kane but that don't mean he still can't be kicked around I guess. Wake me the fuck up when we get another one! Gallant should be looking for a job this morning, you play Tarasenko,Kreider and Zibanejad together and you don't play Kane and the Breadman together until the 3rd period of game seven? Why get Kane if not to play with the Breadman? One was carrying 'Kakapoopoo'(2nd over-all) and the other was sufferin' with 'Laffingbust'(1st over-all),the two underperforming youngsters will still develop at their ages but their combined 34gls 45asts this year proves the dependability of those high picks. Not much left for us to do at this point but revel in and laugh at others misery it seems....for three more......five more......seven more? We add to the 'orgnic growth' this summer w/o any selfish,over-paid cup winners to stunt the future phenoms' voices and HoF development.......ENJOY! There's a fine-line between 'organic growth' and a 'compost pile',that reminds me.....I have to start mine!LOFL!!! This 20yro came into the league after being drafted in the 5th round of his 3rd year of eligibility and found ZERO difficulty finding his voice in a room full of cup winning vets........... www.youtube.com/watch?v=HDoHXktlY-IAs did countless other young but not fragile players! Called it! Drury has to be wondering why he went out and got Patrick Kane if not to play with Panarin.

Let's be honest here: KD was farting lucky charms (the cereal) on the draft lotto day.
