The darlings of the NHL will slaughter the Hawks tonight. NHL I'm sure is hoping Vegas can go 82 - 0 to prove handing an expansion team players who are ready to compete for a Cup from day 1 was the right thing to do. Let other teams fight and claw to build a team, but bring in new teams and hand them immediate success. I HATE VEGAS I HATE VEGAS I HATE VEGAS I HATE VEGAS WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS STAYS IN THE NHL CORPORATE OFFICES bruh... 😎

Nice job boys that was fun!!! Called out by Luke looked like it didnt matter but then they started winning battles... look this is a team full of 3rd and 4th liners I get getting out skilled but they should be able to win 50% of 1 on 1 battles they did more than that tonight! Mac Danato and 11 with real good games and noticeable shifts!! Now thats a way to start the weekend!!!!

What a great game for the Hawks!!! As said, they won many battles and that really made the difference. They outshot the Knights and killed off 4 of their PPs, while getting their own PP goal to win it. Who cares if they gave away an extra point to the Knights. In the end it won't make any difference to anything anyway. I am very glad for Mrazek, who must need a win every once in awhile to make up for the tough times he is having without much offense to help him out. Overall, a fantastic game for the Hawks and I sure would like more like this one.

Old and young - all put in the effort. Korchinski is here to stay after this one I believe.

The defence really picked it up after Vlasic left. Good PKing by Kaiser and Tinordi, who rarely gets any praise but really upped his game tonight.
Also thought it strange they’d run the same four guys for all 1:47 of the PP. Really took a chance there, those guys were wiped and could easily have been caught out if they hadn’t scored.

Said on the post game just now that if bedard's "offside" goal would have counted that would've been 3 goals for him in his last 4 shots.

That's the definition of a blindside hit, but I shouldn't be surprised Vegas had zero penalties in regulation. Vlasic was off balance because of a Vegas stick and had his back to the hit, which was in the back of the shoulder, not the side or front. Those hits are dangerous and I'd be shocked if Vlasic plays the next game. Bedard wasn't tripped in ot but that's Karma, and Kurashev got the winner on the PP.

I'm not saying this to be mean but I'm sure Bedsy will be targeted at some point. The Dmen have to pick up the pace and protect themselves and the forwards going into the future. That was a really good team game where we outshot the defending champs in their home rink. Bedsy is so deadly in the slot with that wrister that I wish he could be fed more often on high quality chances.

Old and young - all put in the effort. Korchinski is here to stay after this one I believe. He’s clearly earned it in my eyes. And if the Kaiser was in the same spot as Korchinski (if not sticking here, back to WHL), I’d say he’s earned it, too. Not yet as developed as Vlasic, but in Kaiser I’m seeing Duncan Keith learning how to play in the NHL again. Wonder if he has Duncs’ sadistic streak (“wakey, wakey…”) or temper (think of Jeff Carter in the SC playoffs catching a high stick from #2). I’m liking the direction this is headed - and there are still 2 more drafts with a bevy of high picks.

I kinda think it was a coach's,team win, Luke saw the lack of battle wins, called them out on it, practiced it, the team bought into it, and the results, for this game, were better, not saying we have a cup team, but we have a good thing, coach working for the players, players playing, working for the coach, just my opinion, future could be bright,

Baby steps. This was a good grind-out win once everyone got on board.

It's gonna be fun when all these picks start pushing for spots, they already have Bedard and Korchinski full time. Possibly Moore next season.

Glad to see the Hawks come back and win. Connor Bedard must have had a great game in goal for the Hawks to beat them.
