They came out decent and went up 2-0 and the wheels fell off. It going to be at least this year and next before we see a decent product. Flat is the right word, I can't stand to see a team with no energy get outworked & outhustled on the boards. It seems like we were on the road with the b2b. On to the next one.

nothing on twitter about an injury...only that he fell awkwardly. no shifts the last 4:02 but that isn't so surprising. pang was between the benches and commented he heard blackwell say he was okay when he was asked by a coach/trainer. so i hope that's the case. Not surprised he’d answer that way, wouldn’t most hockey players? Coming back from that hernia surgery was tough enough, really hope he didn’t aggravate something. oh for sure....that's why i added that i hoped that was the case.

There is no excuse for lasts nights loss. The Hawks were well rested, the Habs played into shoots outs the night before, for a young team that was inexcusable. For the first 15mins it looked like the Habs versus Peter,I don’t understand how the Hawks for the majority of there games this season they come out sleepwalking, again inexcusable. Development is the main focus every game, but last night was brutal and to give up the 2 goal lead on top of that. KK in my honest opinion should not have been playing as well, should of kept the defence the same as the game versus Colorado. I am a big supporter of Luke been recently he has been falling out favour. The Hawks need to be ready night in night out, and that’s not the case.

It was Entwistle that Pang heard asking if he was alright, and he stepped on the Habs stick. My initial thought was groin, which could also pull the abdominal wall. Really hope he didn't injure it after being off 10mnths. And of course he said he's ok, he's a hockey player lol

I guess I didn’t see a lack of effort as much as disorganized in their own end. The constant jumbling of players primarily because of injuries makes it hard. Bedard and KK at times trying to do too much singlehanded. On the other hand the ability of those two is very high which bodes well.

Well Mr. Hyde out tonight they looked good in spurts. Was great to see Kor out there! Did not look good for Blackie gosh I hope he did not reinjure.D confused at times good energy in the house. Habs big kid looks like a player cant wait to get one of those. Rest up lets take it to the blows! What's the deal with Blackwell? He looked pretty good last night. I have barely noticed him before. His career stat line does not look impressive.

I am a big supporter of Luke been recently he has been falling out favour. The Hawks need to be ready night in night out, and that’s not the case. It's not an excuse, it is an explanation. They just are not that talented at both ends of the ice. There has been much said about how good the young dmen are, but I see plenty of times when the opponents' forwards get around them; or the Hawk dmen miss coverages and it leads to goals. The lack of talent among the forwards is very obvious. I think their effort is good most nights, including last night. I think it is a lack of talent that is the main problem. Get them 2 25 goal scorers and watch the difference in play. Why? Because they would then have some talent and skills. This is basically a better than average AHL team. But, I guess that is to be expected when the vast majority of the talent was traded in the effort to rebuild them into a Cup-competitive team. Apparently, there are four Hawk draft picks playing for the USA in the World Juniors this year (Nazar, Moore, Hayes (?) and some other guy). Let's see how they do against the best juniors before estimating how well the Hawks drafted and how likely it is that those draftees will bring nirvana to Chicago along with the other moves to be made. There is still long dark road to be traveled on the way to the light that is beset with booby traps and potholes.

He is a career 3rd line player ok wheels plays right way not afraid to do the dirty work.
