55 mins of good NHL calibre hockey. Then 5 minutes of Indy Fuel.

Tough one. Ehlers blew by 3 Hawks to pot that one.

This team is tough to watch without Bedard. Hopefully one goal holds up. Not sure the Hawks have a deuce in them!!! This is a lot better than losing 7-3 and CB with 2pnts in games they are not in. 72 is a PK machine. I know most wont like it but I like what 27 is going through I didnt like the player because he was worth less in 1 0n 1 battles almost reminding me of B. Purri but he is starting to understand that he has to compete at all times. Better team boys ran out of gas fun one to watch Maz played crazy good

Well, I like what I am seeing from this group. They are developing character and learning how to win. Now, if we can just get that #1 pick in the lottery...

Tough one. Ehlers blew by 3 Hawks to pot that one. I did feel bad for them to have led for so long and then to choke it out, but when Ehlers scored I had the same reaction as you. He blew by 3 so-called defenders and scored. I thought the D was supposed to be good. They sure let Mrazek down with that choke. Oh well.

I can except this. They play Euro style bend but don’t break hockey. Very defensive but usually always lose. Going forward. Not many will want to play in a system like this. I hope Luke likes his job and wants to keep it. Cuz once a bunch of young players come in, they’ll want to score some goals. And not play like an Islander!!!

Tough one. Ehlers blew by 3 Hawks to pot that one. I often see the defenders get lost in choosing which opponent to stop. The end result for me of that is that I don't believe that the defense will be all that tight in next few years. If there is a recovery, they are going to need some serious goal scoring to really succeed. They won't be able to rely on a d that will stop the opponents from scoring in such low numbers that a very viable offense won't be needed. In other words, this team needs serious improvement in all phases of the game. That should only take about 5 years, if it occurs.

But they'll come around eventually.

been out of the loop the last week or so, wondering how rem pitlick has looked so far? by the lack of commentary here about him, likely not great, not bad. stat line nothing remarkable that's for sure. i haven't seen a game for a week but i did listen to the jets game on the radio. the most i heard about him was the radio crew saying he maybe should have shot on one play instead of dishing it to vlasic. i did see that play on the hi-lite reel and i would concur but it's all hindsight and trying to be a bit creative isn't always a bad thing. after 2 games, zero faceoffs for him yet which i found a bit strange considering he's listed as a center.

He didn't really stand out that much, but he seemed to hustle and played with a little physicality.
