pretty much all our best chances are from the guys with the least finesse.

Well, Soder was +.900 this game, but we looked like lukewarm anal seepage.

The last chance by Sanford is typical of what we have. Get a chance and can’t finish.

Sad you can't even score on buffalo.
Probably score 5 tomorrow.

Wow team showed a lot of heart....... In all seriousness Bloom looking better think just giving him backup games instead of split time helping for now. Its just a lack of talent think everyone is trying to get hurt and take a break from this. Tough play on Kur EJ tries to reverse at last second nobody protects themselves anymore. Should be one hell of an exciting game tomorrow night.

The guys on NHLN said there's nothing a GT can do if that shot's placed perfectly and I agree. Larkin scored his 2nd of the year from right around the goal-line/top corner the other night...... www.nhl.com/gamecenter/det-vs-lak/2024/01/13/2023020659They were talking with Micky Redmond(76) after the game and he said he was out on the ice with Larkin working on that shot because 'Mick' said "there's always room up there" with the way GT's go down these days.

again...not completely sure what half of this shit means but i get the sense it's pretty bad.
in a season of disappointments, he takes the cake. and that might be his only takeaway this year.

He's playing so bad I keep him in the minors for my fantasy team, I only play him if there's an open spot. I don't understand what happened but he's fighting the puck big time this season, plus he keeps getting in the way of his teammates. And just like Jones, his shot and pass selections are off, they rarely do the right play. At least Reichel doesn't make over 9+mill a year. Reichel's not playing for a raise, sign him cheap and put him in Rockford next season if this continues.

The only positive of the night was no Vosters. I hope some of the Hawks higher-ups noticed how much nicer it was to hear that game without Vosters. The team passing flat out sucks. I've seen better in high school games.
And I fear Reichel is becoming the next Nylander. I hope he proves that wrong.

The team passing flat out sucks. I've seen better in high school games. Back in my first handful of games in '74, up in the second balcony, I heard one guy (same tone/tenor on different nights, unmistakable cadence) with a similar sentiment: "you guys pass like Bobby Douglass!!!" He always got laughs. How DOES a QB last just under 10 years with a 43% completion rate? www.pro-football-reference.com/players/D/DougBo00.htm.

None of the wideouts could catch the ball except Gordon. Ball used to bounce off the other guys chest.

Thinking of the poor running backs then that had to catch about a 100+ MPH short screen pass from Douglas from about 5 feet out.

Reichel's not playing for a raise, sign him cheap and put him in Rockford next season if this continues. I wouldn't be overly against this. On one had, he may be on the path of Sergei Samsonov--great when he first hit NHL ice and then crashed and burned like Bronson Pinchot's acting career. On the other hand, this may just be a stumbling block for him and he could put it back together. As I said before, we have 7FWDs, 3D, and 1G signed through next season based on CF's roster as of this posting, and an RCH over 44M in projected cap space. Unless someone falls into our lap who makes him completely expendable next season, I think we can sign him to a 1 year, low cap hit "show-me" deal--something under the buried cap limit. If he doesn't improve then we can bury him, or lose him to waivers (I think he's not waivers-exempt next season). But, I think that looking down the barrel of an arbitration RFA deal should be reason enough for him to kickstart his game again. Plus, if nothing else he's a warm body that can be used for fill-in. I think the main difference is that we actually sent out an asset for Nylander, whereas Reichel is just a draft pick that might fail. So in that respect, he, in my opinion, is more in danger of becoming another McNeill.
