Some of those dmen look like they don’t wanna be there. Guhle comes to mind. Parayko. They were meh at best. The booze wasn’t worn off in the 3rd it seems!!!

That was quick. Tavares wins it after 15 seconds. Nevertheless, this game was a joke. And you know what? Do you know who was the Canada goalie tonight? Some guy called Binnington. 6 goals out of 21 shots. binnington was player of the game against denmark but definitely wasn't against austria. haven't watched a minute of this tourney other than a couple hi-lites but canada's play has been a bit troubling despite winning all 3 games. |

Conner did get 1 today, 5 so far in the tourney. Crosby has the record for an 18yr old at the Worlds. 8. Well for Canada at least. And Canada lost a point because it went to OT. Maybe it's time for the NHL to implement 3pts for regulation wins. Just no to this. Every season record then will be a joke. That's for peewee leagues to make them feel good. I hate OT in regulation. Bring back ties!!! |

Canada tied 3-3 with the Finn’s. Byram absolute sticked Puljujarvi in the nut sack. Got 5 and a game. She’s getting rough out there. Good game though!!!

After the first 3 games, CB hasn't scored. I almost feel that the coaches can’t really trust him defensively. He very well could be worn out. He’s is just 18. The games will be more physical moving forward. Good for Bedard to see, but his minutes have most definitely been cut by a lot. It’s a learning curve for him. For whatever reasons he’s not getting ice time. He can figure it out!!! |

I know many don’t wanna hear it. But Seth is a very very good Dman. Overpaid? Maybe. But not by that much. Maybe a million. Can’t even argue that he’s not worth 8.5 per year.
He still mustered up 8 goals 23 assists this year in 67 games. I’m a good Hawks team, he’d easily get 50-55 points. He’s huge and shuts down guys. He’s the Hawks defacto number 1 dman until proven otherwise. I’m still happy to have him!!!

I just read that Reichel has looked good at the Worlds with 7 points in 5 games (3G and 4A). Maybe there is some hope yet for this guy and he will not be relegated to wurst salesman at the German league games.

well...CB got an assist against slovakia, not sure of his ice time. but the game prior, he only saw just over 8 minutes of action.

bedard had 13:04 ice time which was more than 6 other forwards on team canada so not too bad.
still a bit silly he had no ice time in the 3 on 3 o/t..
anyways...congrats to the swiss. they have given us fits in the past and today was no different.
shevy scratched for second straight game. not sure why...hopefully not injury related.
