I participated in the Pfizer vaccine trials, starting August 3rd, 2020. It was a blind study so I didn't know if I had received the vaccine or the placebo. With the vaccine approved for use, on February 15th I was informed I had received the placebo, and because I volunteered to take part in the trial, I could now get the vaccine. So I received the first of 2 shots on February 15th. I had some soreness in the injection site for a couple of days, but nothing that interfered with daily activities. I also felt pretty sluggish the day after the shot, but can't be sure it was due to the shot.
I go back on March 8th for the 2nd shot, where the likelihood increases of feeling some of the symptoms of Coronavirus. But that is what doctors say show that the vaccine is working, so I am not too concerned about having a few days not feeling my best. It will just be good to know that I'll be fully vaccinated and 95% immune from getting the virus. I'll continue to wear a mask for a simple reason: If I'm at a store and I am one of 2 people not wearing a mask, how would anyone know which of the 2 of us had a shot? Yes, I have a card (that I plan to have laminated once I receive my 2nd shot) but if wearing a mask makes others around me feel more secure, I'm fine with it.

Never trust stats and never trust polls. Never trust experts either. Just think of all these sports experts with their picks to win only to be wrong. They are lucky to be 50% correct in their lifetime. So why are they considered experts? Well… exactly, and that ended up being the exact truth… for sure. To jump on something because the news says it .. with out proper research from more than one man, there should be at least 3 medical advisers to any president.. Not one! The money we waste in the USA, no reason we can’t have more than 1 expert.
