I'm not sure if I ever had less confidence in a 4-1 Bears team but I'll take the record for now. Last night's W was due in large part to a HIGHLY paid D finally showing up and the first 3 games of the year coulda went either way. I don't get passing to stop the clock late and giving Brady a chance to beat you but Nagy stepped in shit and came out with another W. The bright spot of the night was seeing Foles attempt to explain football to Nagy.

I hear ya, Bob! they don't exactly elicit a ton of confidence, do they? not gonna lie, that game seemed more like the Bucs inability to get out of their own way. just a ton of dumb penalties and dumb moves (I can't believe Tom didn't know what down it was at the end....). our defense got some pressure, though. gonna need A LOT more of that if we are gonna continue to tackle like shit and continue to not stop the run. i had no idea Goldman would be such a big loss..... still, we certainly left some points on the board. Foles was wayyy off to start the game, he could've easily had 2-3 more touchdowns last night. but, that has always been his m.o., that's why he can't stick anywhere in the league. when he is on, he is great. when he isn't.....🤢

not Bears, but man is Minnesota's coach is a fucking idiot...... works for me! Any chances you take a shot at Bell, maybe try and help out the running game. Gase was the problem in NY not Bell. We can argue the o-line has been terrible but Montgomery needs to show a little more agility and vision. A good to great RB makes his space and finds the holes, Montgomery is having a hard time doing as such.

I guess somebody oughta notice that the Bears are 5-1,not sure how but they are. I would like to get through one game without the announcing crew asking why in the world did Nagy do that though.

I was gonna bring it up the other day, but got busy and forgot. big game next Monday night. need another win on the road. Saints, @ Titans, and Minny up after this, before the bye week. gonna need to win 3 of 4 if we want to have any chance of competing with the douche-led team up north after the bye week....

getting really old, all the penalties called on our defense.....
Bears may as well get rid of their expensive d players and spend the money on offense. the league just isn't going to allow tough physical defensive play anymore at all.

The Chicago Bears offense is very offensive. We have no quarterbacks. We have no offensive line. We don't have a running back that can take on our issues. We have just one receiver who can go for the homerun (and we have no QB to get Mooney the ball). We have Matt Nagy who is also calling horrible plays. For example, that critical fourth and one play in which it's a pitch to Patterson seven yards behind the line of scrimmage. That was too easy for the Rams. I am sick and tired of this offense and what really tans my hide is how we've never really had a bona fide quarterback like at least half of the NFL teams have had in my time as a Bears fan since 1969. What is the friggin' deal. How is it the Pack gets back-to-back first ballot Hall of Famers?
Ryan Pace has created a fine defense and, once again, for the umpteenth time, a Bears GM can't put together enough talent to put an NFL offense on the field.
Right now, this is too ugly, but I think that since Foles is making bad decisions and he's basically a statue with a bad line in front of him and no running game, we should go back and try Trubisky because he can run. The offensive line can also rove to one side or the other. It's not a great option and we've seen this already, but I'd give it a shot because we haven't yet seen Mitch in this kind of situation. Try it for a half. What do you have to lose in this scenario? Oh, and I would have somebody else call plays for awhile. It's like Nagy is pressing with his play calling.
