Nothing made me or the rest of their fans happier than when they were finally, finally nominated to enter the Rock and Roll HOF. Best concert opening ever.

i don't have the greatest ear for music but he was likely the only drummer that i know of that i could recognize from just listening no matter what the song. in the obit that jim posted, it mentioned his "utterly precise style". good description. 67 years old. way too young. sad news to wake up to.

I always disliked Getty's voice, but Neil really made me enjoy them enough to get over it. fantastic band and, in regards to the rock n roll HOF, best acceptance speech ever... m.youtube.com/watch?v=Z-zV4GaElko

this song likely doesn't mean a whole lot to most americans here, but besides our anthem, it's likely the most "canadian defining" song there is...and has been for over 50 years.

I’m horribly sad to see him go. He’s literally one of my hero’s, and the reason why I ever played music. Because of him and Rush I learned Guitar, Keyboards, Drums, Bass, learned how to record( with the help from some friends in the industry), but he was just all around amazing. RIP Neil. I’ll leave this here!!! youtu.be/LWRMOJQDiLU
