3 and 0, boys! now Mitch can sit his ass down for the rest of the season, hopefully. Good old Vader talking Bears, well, today certainly was another stellar comeback. For all the heat Nagy takes he made the right move today with Foles and it paid off. I was never a Mitch supporter, but being a fan of the team you hope for the best, even if it means cheering on a QB you dislike. I am keeping my fingers crossed Nick can continue his success moving forward. The receivers looked very happy out there catching passes in there breadbasket and not sailing over there heads into the stands, 3-0 is a great start, but as always next week versus the Colts, a team who have actually won a game will give us a better indication of what to expect from this Bears offence. With the loss of Cohen, I hope the tricks plays are done and Nagy uses Foles as he did today, and as for Pagano, his defensive schemes aren’t working very well, but the INT to end the game was great to seal the victory.

i wished i'd have got up. i had a peek at my phone, must've been around 3 am, it was early in the 4th and the falcons had something like a 96% chance of winning....uhm, nope said i as i shut off the phone and went back to sleep.
what a nice surprise to wake up to.

i like how coaches still hold up the play sheet to their mouths when talking into the headset, even though they're wearing a mask.
like my buddy, he lost an eye to cancer years ago but he says he still cleans both lenses of his glasses.
old habits, i guess.
GO SAINTS!!

I have tried as well with Trubisky, but I've not been a fan since before he was picked. who could've guessed a qb who started for only one season in college, in a spread option offense no less, wouldn't really translate to the NFL? yeah..... I’ve given him chances (plural), but I'm done. he just isn't a NFL QB. so, it is on to BDN. Indy isn't anything special, but neither are we thus far, so it should be a game. I agree on Pagano, thus far I have been less than impressed with the defense, especially the run defense. missing Goldman is apparently hurting worse than expected. our linebackers aren't exactly setting the world on fire, either. that is going to have to improve against Indy and Taylor, big time. still, 3-0 is 3-0. tied for first place. time to improve before we play the nemesis up north.....

They could have drafted My Homie or D Watson, but NOOOOOOOOOO, they went with a SB type pick.

Is 'how did Sproles NOT start the season' a fair question? The guy actually threw five TD's against a defense MT had nothing against and it's the worst pass defense in the league as their coverage showed in the 4th quarter. Sorry to hear about Cohen but I wondered how long a guy his size would stay healthy, maybe Montgomery gets more than 14 carries now.

I wondered the same week one myself, Bob. but, I knew they would give Trubisky one more shot. thankfully it didn't cost us any wins. now, let's just keep BDN healthy. bummer about Cohen, but of course he blows his knee out right after he signs an extension. hope he got a decent amount guaranteed cuz he is gonna be a candidate to be cut for cap space now.

Trubisky can now go and ride of in the sunset with his new pal Sanchez and only dream of ever being in the same tier as players like Mahomes and Watson.

Montgomery is coming into his own, I really like what I am seeing from the kid, maybe Foles will be able to utilize his talents more than Trubisky. In relation to Cohen, the kid has a huge heart and plays with passion, but as you noted it was only a matter of time before he went down. It’s time for Nagy to stop with the trick plays and give Montgomery every opportunity to succeed.

the bad news is i got up early to watch this.
the good news is i still missed the first quarter and we had a helluva' lightning storm and the power went out and i missed the fourth quarter as well.
every time i wake up early to watch the bears play an afternoon game they always seem to play like day old dog shit. if i stay in bed they have a chance at least.

I'm making no case for MT,I'm done with him but why with a week to practice with the starters,BDN(thanks v) looks just like MT out there? This is Nagy's offense and Pace's O-line,make no mistake! Indy is ANOTHER team that has a bunch of high picks on their O-line like other good teams,we drafted two in the 7th round and brought in a cast-off on a one year.......the O-line is an afterthought here but of great importance to the top teams. We lost 1st rounders and spent a BILLION(LOL) on our pass rush yet we had no pass rush......I know Mack's a top player but does anyone think the Raiders regret that trade?

I am, and have always been, a big defensive guy, but the NFL is clearly geared toward offense now (and will be for the foreseeable future). so, it is hard for me not to like the Quinn signing, but it pretty obviously shouldn't have happened. we clearly needed help along the offensive line and did about jack and shit about it in the offseason..... clearly QB and offensive line should be the clear targets next offseason.
