Hagel was a +3. Hmmm... maybe it's time for the Nylander experiment to be scrapped. And Carlsson with another 2 assists and the 1st star of the game, maybe it's time to trade Gus and lets see what Carlsson can do, can't be any worse defensively. It'd make Ol' Creature happy,I'll tell ya that! The kid's been capable and reliable at the AHL level, produces a little 'O',he's paid he dues and I'd say he knows the system but I'm not sure anyone knows the system. You and I both discussed how the chances Gus' offensive season he was commin' off of last summer was a possible fluke and how his defensive liabilities would only be more and more exposed the longer we kept him and here we are! Gotta see what you got with a 22yro like Carlsson and I still don't think Gilbert played poorly enough to get buried @23 either.

Stans trying to hold onto the dream, but it usually turns into a nightmare, just this time on west Madison st. The run is over and we can build up a great team fairly quickly. But he’s so intent on making the playoffs and let’s see what happens. The best case would be to trade Maatta, Gus, Saad, Lehner and see what we got in this here farm. Take the draft picks and prospects and build from within. We got some decent pieces already, just need to add to it!!!

I agree except for trading Maatta and Saad, they don't need Cap space this season so why not move Gus and Lehner but keep Saad and Maatta in case they have a run and get a playoff spot. Neither guy has an expiring contract plus they're in there mid 20's, I'd wait till at least draft day. Unless of course someone offers a lot to get them.

Pittsburgh set a pretty high bar for getting Zucker. Now teams like Montreal thinks Tatar is worth the same or more. And who knows what they’ll get for Kovalchuk. It all depends who wants to go all in this year. Even the Edmonton media thinks the Oilers, who have a pretty fair chance of coming out of the Pacific, shouldn’t be trading futures and prospects yet, not this year. Saad, Gus or Lehner could garner pretty good returns. But what teams see their windows closing and are willing to literally give up the farm?

youtu.be/BKjpUPpw_UcIn the second period Delia gets scored on (nice shot) buts it the work of Gilbert and McCoshen that’s impressive in how they clear the net. Don’t get that a lot here.

Anyone know how Kurashev is doing? Him and Wedin haven't played in a while and they went on a long losing streak since 🤔 Kurashev had a slow start but he was producing more before his injury.

You're lucky it's my posts otherwise you might be missing something good. : ) There's times i'll be scrolling thru old pages and can't see some of my old tweets but it's just a temporary thing. Or times when i post a tweet and it doesn't show up. Usually a quick refresh and then it appears. Your problem's a strange one.

With his 5th goal tonight Carlsson is on a 7gm point streak, 1g-8a. I'd much rather see him on the Hawks over Gus.

I’m glad Kurashev is back in, although does anyone know why he missed so much time? Huge loss of development time for him, he’s one of the more talented players in our prospect pipeline. Hagel is consistently scoring now and deserves a look to see what they have in him, just like Carlsson was initiated today. If the Hawks post season hopes are truly drifting away they need to audition some of the kids to see what they have before overspending on superfluous free agents or trading for more unneeded appendages .

I got to watch Cramarossa and Loewen go at it. Cram looked like he was giving up about 4 in. in height and about the same in reach. He came in second in the fight. www.youtube.com/watch?v=fAiuFLsYUzk

Boqvist not given the same designation, meaning he is done when the 'hawks are done.

Boqvist not given the same designation, meaning he is done when the 'hawks are done. idk....maybe there's some rule that wouldn't allow boqvist. he's only played 30% of his pro career in the rock. (35 nhl, 15 ahl) or maybe management is worried about his shoulder, or him getting injured in some other way. most likely (imo) they figure his future is definitely in the nhl and better to give the playoff experience to a developing d-man. who knows?

I wasn't speculating, just adding to your post. 😎 I'd say they probably want him to have some time off and heal that shoulder up once the season is over. a lot more miles on him this year than he is used to, I would imagine. good time for a little break.
