Finally, I was wondering if we needed to send Kane down to their 3rd line.

Gotta admit it's a shallow prospect pool at forward down there and I wish I could say otherwise. It wasn't all that long ago I was excited to see almost every kid come up. I know good, young forwards like D-Cat,Kubalik and Dach didn't go an AHL route for whatever reason but a few reliable cheap, bottom six forward with some skill from the farm shouldn't be out of the question either.

It seems just like yesterday on the old boards we were kind of excited at the lineup there and thought big things for them.

I really like Dach's game and I know he's gonna be great, but I can't help but think that not being in the AHL for this year might hurt his development. He plays hard every game, but the results aren't there but hopefully he doesn't lose confidence. It's too late now, but I believe he would have benefited from part or all of the season there.

I hoped more from dach this year...but he's got all the tools. His decision making is his weak spot but one has to remember his age/situation. He checks almost all the boxes for me and i am looking forward to his development.
He still looks like a gangly teenager at times because he is a gangly teenager. But when the pimples stop coming and his confidence emerges...i'm quite confident he's going to be a keeper.

I'm still wondering if Dach was kept because he showed he was at least somewhat close to ready for the NHL or was he kept up for lack of prospects in the system?
Did I dream this or have the Hawks said in the past they weren't going to rush prospects? I think they're rushing both Dach and Boqvist; Dach goes straight from juniors to the NHL and Boqvist had only 15 games at Rockford before getting called up and that isn't near enough seasoning. It shows the lack of depth in the system.
I looked at the draft and all the players taken after Dach are either back in jrs., in NCAA, or in Europe. Hughes and Kaako are in the NHL but neither are doing all that much point wise; they're 11th and 12th in rookie point totals. I didn't look further but I'd bet several of the rookies ahead of them in this year's scoring race went back to amateurs or minors for at least a season before joining their NHL team; such as Victor Olofsson or Quinn Hughes, and others.

The Hogs have signed the ECHL leading goal scorer to a PTO. Gabriel Gagne.
He's 23, 6'5" 215lbs and a righty. Considering their forwards need help, this might be a good start.

Huge win for the Hogs getting their 20th win, better 20-19 than 19-20 lol Gagne is a big kid and has a lot of upside, not sure why the Sens never gave the big 2nd rounder a chance. Heavy hard shot and it showed on both goals, low hard wrister for a rebound on Sikuras goal and a bomb for his goal, the goalie was probably closing his eyes lol Huge shutout for Delia, 34 for 34 👍 they made a bobblehead of him doing that walk 🤟

another loss in the books.... Wow, Delia really got lit up.
I'm scared of how Stan will handle the goalie situation in the next few weeks.

Hogs need a lot of help, down 4-1 in the 3rd, Entwistle scored at least.

good on ya' K.L. you're in some good company on that list. edit: and on a sidenote.... frk me that was fast. Lankinen seems to like the big stage. He started out with good numbers this year but I'm not sure the three GT rotation did him much good......the other two did play well enough to earn their time though. I would have preferred Delia and Lankinen dukin' it out for the job and seeing more time but Tomkins played well enough to earn his starts to be honest. They've all been gettin' roasted a bit lately and I'm not familiar enough with the team to say why but they all played well earlier.....maybe the D? I remember Frk having a big shot in the few games I've seen him but that could kill somebody!

I remember Frk having a big shot in the few games I've seen him but that could kill somebody! I'm not sure it's them getting roasted as much as the team has scored a handful of goals the last month. 13 games so far this month they have given up 38 goals 2.92 GAA. 20 GF 1.54 GF. Nearly 1.5 goals per game difference.
