Ohhh brother, I agree. These things really hit home for me. I know a ton of families with kids in hockey, and to think of something like this is unimaginable. We had a tragic bus accident with our girls AAA team about 15 years ago here. An ex girlfriend of mine, her sister was on the bus in NY state and the accident almost paralyzed her. She had a long road to recovery I tell ya. I believe the coach died and a lot of the players were severely injured. Never wanna hear of this stuff. I remember running into her dad at the Spits game and he told me about it. I felt so bad for them. I stopped by to say high one day to see how she was doing. It was tough seeing her like that. It’s gotta be sooo tough for that team and the parents right now. I hope they can find some peace in all this madness!!!

i hope this is just me needlessly jumping to conclusions, but if it was a 16 year old me in a crash at 3 a.m. on a saturday morning, there's about a 98% chance i'd be over the limit.
i hope this isn't the case here. it would make a tragic situation even worse somehow.
RIP lads.

RIP lads. Hard not to assume that at 3am and they hit a tree, sad news. I feel terrible for their friends, family, and teammates.
