Happy for Q, wonder where he'll land. Not really for Bowman, but as long as he is never near the Hawks again, whatever I guess. MacIsaac = also whatever.

Doubt there'd be any possibility that Q would land in Chicago again, but I'd love it if it did happen.

I don’t ever see Q back in Chicago, I don’t want to look back on what had happened, but I was one who felt he should never coach again. I understand, everyone deserves a second chance, and he definitely had remorse, but for me it’s not enough. Q and Blowman don’t deserve to see the NHL in any capacity besides on television. Just my opinion.

I've litigated this enough at this point,so all I'll add is,when the victim goes out of his way to make a public statement in support of Q,That's enough for me.

The guy's lost out on three years of income that woulda been somewhere in the 15 million dollar range and the very likely possibility of lifting more cups in Fla with the team he helped form. It's time for Joel Quenneville to get back to work IMO.

I find it funny how the league slides this in at the end of the busiest week in league history. It’s free agent frenzy, and they slide that in amongst the oodles of news coming in. That’s how you deflect. If they sewered them for this long, they should face the heat on why now they let them back in. And I’ve always agreed all of them should be let back in!!!

Same thing happens with our US government, buries controversial stories or decisions late on Fridays when most folks already are checked out for the weekend.

I wonder if Q really want to be a coach again. I mean the backlash of being behind the bench all across the two countries. He’ll probably get harassed and verbally abuse every game he’s in. It also wont be a good press for the league

If the victim himself supports Q's return,I don't see how any other opinion could matter more. I know it's a cruel world and some back-lash is a real possibility but if the victim can confirm Q's insistence that the most severe allegations were kept from him,maybe the 14 year old issue can be put to rest at some point.

With the Team Canada scandal set to start in court room soon certainly should Q get hired he will be asked what he knew, what he did or did not do.

Provided there is no NDA in place it might be wise should he get hired to hold a press conference to answer any questions and say it will be the last time he will comment on the whole Beach situation.

most fans also likely don't know that when they had the meeting to discuss Beach, no one ever said he was sexually assaulted, just that there was harassment...

....or at least that is what the B&J report says.

I thought he already did a good job answering some tough questions in a recent interview, but you're probably right. A more widely circulated 'presser' where he takes on those same tough questions might be necessary. He handled the questions well and what seemed like honestly in the interview,he should be able to handle em again.
