Agree. One of the best d-men ever and a critical piece to winning 3 cups here.

This team or this league, one of the greats without a doubt. And all 5 played for an original 6 team. The Laffs lose again.

Definitely one of the best I have ever seen I would just watch him on the ice for some games and then get home and watch the game again. He was one of the few dmen that dictated play and was relentless. My favorite hawk of all time. Dunk spent time in juniors in BC he talked about how it sucked that he became the most hated man up there that’s just not easy stuff. He always gave it his all. I have said many times the biggest problem with the flash was he thought he could be at 2 places at once and for a good while there that’s what it looked like. Thanks for everything go enjoy your life !!!

I know many don’t understand how hard it is to walk away from this. Duncan Keith since the age of 5 has lived, eat and sleep hockey. He has sacrificed soooo many summers and weekends to do what he loves. This is why hockey is such a tight community. We’re all in this together. It takes a village to make things happen. I’m living it right now with my son and the amount he sacrifices to do this. He’s on the ice for 3 hours tomorrow. He had off ice training today. He had 2 sessions yesterday. We were at a tourney last weekend. Duncan Keith did all the same. As do the others. And when they have to call it a career. It’s very sad. That’s all they know. The support they’ve had along the way is immense. Then for the ride to come to a complete halt just like that has got to be depressing for a while.
What a great career. Enjoy coaching your kid. 1st ballot Hall of Famer. Maybe he gets back in hockey some day? I’d love to see him in some capacity. Congrats Duncs!!!
