Beaudin not looking too bad tonight he caught my eye a couple times as well (in a good way) in a period where not much else caught my eye.

Hurricane Ian left me without power for 2 and a half days. Finally came back on this evening, and just saw the Hawks game was on NHL Network. So missed the first 2 periods and beginning of 3rd.
Low scoring game.....how have they looked?

Had some property damage that hopefully will be covered by insurance. But 1 block east of me the homes are flooded.

I hope we play a lot better than this vs these fuckers on opening night. I know we need to lose (and the wangs need to win so they have 0 shot at Bedard next spring), but damn i hate losing to this team...

Looked good on PK and played physical finished all checks. Got a kick out of Lucas Kur and Sikura line with no one wanting to get in front of the net.

I'm getting a sick feeling that the TURD-LE neck twin will be on all the home broadcasts at least. Hopefully the streaming services work and give us broadcast options

Interesting Kubalik wearing #81, an homage to Hossa? Technically born in Czechoslovakia before the dissolution into two states.

not that it matters but that's a decent crowd. it's a shame we laid an egg. the last home game was 10,100 and change and at the time i thought that was pretty good. i realize cheaper prices and all but still...

Amazing that they got 15,000 people to watch a preseason game. Tickets must have been $5 per seat, no matter where. It looked like the Hawks looked last year-----severely outshot. That is to be expected to be repeated many times this year. Maybe someday it will get better.

It was a good preview of a Kane-less Hawks team. There’s the quickest way to the bottom for sure.

That's pretty reasonable, even if it is just a pre-season game. I wonder if the ticket prices will be lowered for the regular season games. They certainly can't plan on charging what they were charging in recent years.

I believe it was 20$ but season ticket holders got free vouchers (4) if you had 2 seats I would assume most used all 4 for the Saturday night game. And 20$ was for any seat in the house.
