I haven't watched in a while and after seeing this, it'll be a while again. Unless of course the Hawks have guys like Korchinski and Bedard/Fantilli in it.

Unless of course the Hawks have guys like Korchinski and Bedard/Fantilli in it. i guess it's designed for a different generation, but i'd have a hard time thinking any age group would find this skills competition exciting. in my mind it couldn't be more boring. the beach dunk tanks and the golfing with hockey sticks was meant to help capture the essence of host florida i guess but imho missed the mark. the only thing i enjoyed seeing was sarah nurse score on shesterkin. having said that, the rest of the competition made that particular play look pretty good. |

and I think you could have scored on Shesterkin with the effort he made to stop her lol

Good news for those who missed it, the NHL Network is showing the skills (?) competition again tonight at 9 PM EST.
Now no excuses to not watch how bad everyone is saying it is! GET THE POPCORN READY! 😆 🤣

I’m all for the NHL crossing over to bring the women in. But make everyone try. The women are much better than your average male who play. Show them how hard it is to score on the worlds best goalies. It’s embarrassing. It’s almost like when an NHL player brings their kid on the ice and the goalies let them score. That’s what you see there!!! |
