I was gonna take Stars in 5 but went 6. With Johnson centering the second line they are now a dangerous team if you ask me and Ott is the real deal. This will get ugly at times. Shame JEE got hurt that will leave a mark

Curious what others think about Dumba’s hit on Pavelski. It seemed a bit high and he may have left his feet so borderline IMO. It may take Pavelski out of this series.

Watching Kaprizov last night made me think a bit more about Michkov. K played 5 years in the KHL after he was drafted in the 5th round and came to the NHL at 23 (same age as Panarin when he came). I believe Michkov can come over at 21.

Amazing Kap lasted until the 5th round. Maybe he hadn’t displayed the skill by age 18 that he would eventually have.

Yes, I recall some were surprised he fetch a first rounder, too bad the GM did not make a good pick, or it was a good pick and Beaudin was never developed properly or given an opportunity.

DUMBASS already took undersized Boqvist at #8 and Beaudin was the only other 'boy band' lookin' D prospect left when he picked again at #27!LOL! Neither were properly developed or assessed to be fair,Boqvist was rushed by two years and Beaudin was given zero opportunity in favor of veteran after veteran after veteran.

MAF starting game 2 it looks like. Interesting considering Gustafson was pretty good in game one. I know they alternated for some of the regular season. Usually after a win unless for an injury the line up stays the same.

Usually after a win unless for an injury the line up stays the same. According to twitter they alternated the last 14 games and after the double o/t last game i guess it made too much sense to stop doing it. I wonder...do they keep alternating until one goalie has a bad game? Big advantage to the wild if it continues to work. Having a fresh goalie between the pipes every game is a bonus not often seen in the playoffs. (Maybe never seen)

he beat his own record of consecutive years in the playoffs.
and he also ties brodeur and roy for most total years played in the nhl playoffs.
unfortunately fleury's team is trailing 2=0, he allowed 2 goals on 7 shots.

Looks like Lundquist was pouring a 16 oz beer into his coffee cup. The 'King' was in a bit of disbelief after the GT decision in game two and he's a decorated vet GT himself. He said MAF would have understood the kid keeping the net after stopping 51 of 53 in game one. He also said MAF might have cleared his HC's desk if he was told he was losing the net after a performance like that. During last night's game,Edzo said 'the last thing you want to do with a low-scoring team with a great GT,is let em run-up seven in a game',it gives that team confidence because goal scoring is contagous. The HC's explanation was "we alternated during the year"..........SERIOUSLY? If,err......when the Wild lose this series,Evason should lose his job.

Someone tell Evanson this is the playoffs and not regular season. If this series does go seven and the Wild lose, looking back on the game 2 goalie decision could very well cost the coach his job.
