Plus, a conference final between Seattle and Las Vegas is LONG overdue! I can't even remember the last time it happened!

I'll go Stars in 7. I still don't like the Krak's goaltending and I am more confident in Oettinger than Georgiev. should be a good series, though.

same as the knights in recent years...regardless of how they got so good so fast, i'm not in favor of expansion teams experiencing so much success so early on. is that being petty of me? likely...but in my mind it's still true.

You never know with hockey players, I see Joel Eriksson Ek with Wild tried to play with a broken leg. |

I just don't see that they would be able to maintain the same level of intensity. Secondly, Dallas is a deeper team with a better goalie. The Avs certainly skated very fast and purdy -- at least their top line did -- but in the end were not able to score. PS: Also, living in Portland, last thing I want to see is more Seattle gloating. |

the kraken's streak of scoring first ends at 7 but it didn't seem to bother them all that much.

kraken outhit the stars by a whopping 47-19. when one team outhits another by that kind of number it often means they are chasing the puck trying to gain possession. i don't know the possession numbers of the game but the SOG also favored seattle 44-35 so i don't believe lack of possession was a problem for them.
the kraken also outhit the avs 46 to 23 in the deciding game last round.

I think we saw a lotta 'climax' last night and they might not be done 'climaxing' yet!LOL! I'll say the same thing about Seattle I said after their game one win against the Avs,I dunno how many more games they win in the series BUT this team means business! |
