Wow how times change. Year and a half ago I went to Hawks game in Sunrise. Dale was considered an idiot for signing Bob. Fans were chanting for Paul to get fired. Cant keep a Ruutu
coached team down. Congrats Cats!!!

So happy to see the Bolts out in the first round again.
Luke mentions how Chicago didn't stop working last year and karma blessed them with Bedard, KD also wrote the name of his daughters on his hand before the lotto, he lost a daughter like Luke, much different ways. Maybe these guys are the Hawks lucky charms.
The 2yrs Chicago has Tampas firsts and they're out in the first round both years, kinda lucky.

Congrats Cats!!! It was only two years go this summer after getting swept out of the 2nd round by TB,that saw almost all of us writing Fla's cap-induced death knell. They had trouble dressing 20 skaters late that season due to the cap,they had some extensions coming and 'Bob' was UN-movable! Whudda they gonna do? They're gonna make a blockbuster trade for Tkachuk,extend Tkachuk for huge $$$.keep 'Bob' and have him regain his Vezina form.....that's what. |

I really don't like the idea of the Bolts getting that 3d Cup in a few years like our Hawks did. So, I am very pleased every time they go bye-bye in the playoffs without a Cup. I hope there are many more bye-byes ahead for them and Mr. Nikita "I Like Nothing Better Than Being Able to Cross-Check a Face Down Opponent in the Back of the Neck" Kucherov. |

I thought he was cooked a couple seasons ago, heck even last season until he picked it up in the playoffs. if he keeps it up, his team is going to be a tough out. I’m glad Tampa is gone too but Cooper’s presser was pretty good. He’s right, although when they were on top they got those calls. These poor reffing and war room calls though, endemic throughout the season and when every second commercial or colour commentary is about gambling, starting to make me wonder somewhat.

So since this team stopped working at least 50% of the time guess we get #4 this year. |

So since this team stopped working at least 50% of the time guess we get #4 this year. True, but at least they got Bedard last year and they're still top4 this year. And like BigT mentioned a few times, not picking #1 could be a good thing. But they did force ot in their last game when it looked like it was going to be a blowout, so they fought till the end. |
