Otter is rolling at the right time for the Stars. this one could be a back and forth affair. if Stoner comes back for game 1, I may change it to Stars in 7, but I do not trust their goalies at all right now...

I don't which series I utterly hate more: this one or Van/Nash. I honestly can't stand all 4 of these teams.
That said, I do have high hopes for this series being good overall. Hopefully they beat the hell out of each other. I don't know why I think the Stars will win, which pains me to say because I can't stand Jamie Benn.

I thought Otter's late season surge would carry through to the playoffs, but it appears not and they REALLY need him to be good against Vegas cuz Vegas isn't giving up a ton of chances... |

With Pietrangelo, Hannifn, Theodore and Martinez healthy that is a lot of seasoned D and their checking chances are going to be limited. |

Johnston wins it on his 8th try.
Stars dominated this one, imo. Thompson played great, though. he keeps that up for Vegas they'll be hard to beat, in this round and the rounds after...

on the broadcast i was watching, they were saying how in the old days, you never saw shots like that and i was thinking the exact same thing.
i guess it's a normal progression. as goalies get bigger over the years and their equipment becomes larger, accuracy would naturally have to increase to adapt.
