Now I finally realized why Caps bought capfriendly. They have the highest cap hit of 99M USD and did not want anyone else to know. They will gain cap space from Kuznetzov. He had agreed to have his contract terminated. Caps gain 3.9 million back from that. I’m not sure why Kusnetzov agreed to have his contract terminated? I believe he had another year at 6 million. He’s in his 30s, and has been a distraction on teams. I doubt he gets another deal worth more than 6 million. Maybe a team gives him a 1 year 1 million deal? I think he’d be better off trying out the champs or the oilers to get a Cup. Then maybe move on for a bit bigger deal!!!
