Well, just went to go to the NHL.com site and what a gut punch that was. Next, went to ChiCityForums to fill the void but can't shake that it just doesn't feel quite the same. Looks like T-Man has built a nice little replica here! I'm on board to see where this site goes - I've got a good feeling about it.  Thanks for giving us a try. I haven't set up an account on the other but have read some of the threads. We need to get some of the longtime posters to check this site out. T-man is doing a fantastic job giving us a very similar board. |

I haven't set up an account on the other but have read some of the threads. We need to get some of the longtime posters to check this site out. T-man is doing a fantastic job giving us a very similar board. Very similar. Everything down to the locked background design and pre-emoji smilies. It's the little things. |

Should I remove the "Shoutbox" from below?
Not being used much, might be something for
anyone to make an announcement about whatever.
But if it just is in the way and clogs the page, I'll remove it.

I'd let it be, no proper oportunity to use it for now but if sometning important happens suddenly, ie unexpected trade, this could be good way to alert ppl who don't browse all threads all time. |

My bad they did actually. they told us a couple or 3 days prior it was midnite on the 31st CDT. and it went dark at 1 minute after 12. it was an epic last few hours on the old site. mind you i was in denial too. |
