The word “steal” is used a lot. It’s a word that should only be used after the results appear. Here’s hoping Wise gets his game together but I’ve got higher hopes for the fourth rounder Kurashev from that draft. Now Vlasic becoming a staple on this team in a couple of years would be huge with all the other undersized prospects we have.

Another guy who doesn't get mentioned that much is Evan Barratt, he could be the future 3C.

Wonder if he gets a PTO from Rockford. Good thing about Teply is he can sign and go pro next year, right? Being a Euro? Although another year of junior would be good for him.

Had a chance to catch some of the BC/BU bean pot game a while back and this Vlasic kid really isn't big......he's MASSIVE! I knew he was tall and I know they're 'padded up' these days but they're was nothing 'beanpole' about him at all. Played physical, saw good minutes for a freshman and seemed to stay around the net on D and actually look for guys to shove out of the crease. Get it out of your system now kid!LOL! Jake Wise back-checked hard but I didn't notice much more than energy to be honest.

You'd think I'd learn my lesson and not get excited but it's hard not to with this kid lol and don't read to much into it, the Wings are showing what a bad franchise they are, why trade a homegrown draft pick who's a 6'4" right handed dman that had 11g-39pts as an 18yr old for Perlini 🤣 Some people thought Regula got most of his points last season because he played LW on the PP with Bouchard and Boqvist, well he's the main guy now and lighting it up.

YES to the bolded! Regula still has to prove it at the big league level but he's done all he can so far and I'll never understand GM's parting with talented 19yro D-men.

Exactly, especially right handed dmen. When the Hawks got Maatta I was excited cause I thought he'd be perfect with Jokiharju 🙄

could be a pretty good trade by Stan if this kid turns out to be a contributor. we got a handful of "O" minded defensemen in the system but this kid's size is what sets him apart from the others. edit: regula's february numbers were 11g, 7a in 11 games.

Moberg had back to back two goal games last week, 4g-1a in 2gms. Heating up at the right time.
Mitchell with 1g-2a in 3gms last week and he's on a 4gm point streak and he now has 30pts.
Bowman is frustrating and he makes very questionable moves, like trading Jokiharju and getting Maatta and de Haan when he should've just got one guy and he should've moved Gus last summer...but, since he traded Hossa he's been addressing the size issue and these big guys are skilled.

Down the road I’d like to see Moberg traded to a better team. Maybe that happens next year when he turns 20.

I'm pretty excited about Regula. He is a good young defense man and seems to be doing well without Boqvist this season. I read an interview with Yzerman where he was asked about the Regula trde and he said it was Stan's price for Perlini and admitted the Wings were desperate for offense and he felt Perlini would help in thhat respect it was a good trade by Stan as much as it hurts me to even type that.

It was unfortunate we didn't get a better look at Lankinen this year but injuries and a log jam at he position didn't allow it,gotta make the decision on a re-do none the less. The Finn sounded like he was ready for some NHL action after his stellar WC performance and I wonder how much more patience he'll have here, with Delia already a high paid GT prospect,I doubt we'll see two.

I don't know how the cap works for Rockford other than call-ups have to fit within the Hawks cap available. But Deals was only making 25K more than Lanky. Tho he is RFA after the season. Will he force the Hawks/Rockford to sign and play him next season or will he bolt for Europe?
