they are? you mean Landeskog? that guy may never play again, imo. I don't think that situation is the same as the Kucherov one. We will see herd he practices a little and is traveling with team not Kuch level but Stone last year was told he might not play for a long time also. And dont worry about the Irish this weekend not gonna lie, I had to think a minute when you mentioned the Avs. he has been out for so long now, I forgot he was even still there. honestly, it would not shock me if he comes back. I know he skated on his own in January (I think) and I know he traveled with the team once or twice, but that is about all the news I've seen on him. it certainly sounds like his knee is effffffed, though. I always worry about the fightin Jackson's. he always has his guys ready to go when they play us, especially in the post-season! edit: naturally I typed this all out and then went and read an article on nhl.com that literally says Landeskog might be back this season... lol.

I think it’s a shame his iron man streak ended this way. I always thought it’d end from him ingesting too many tube steaks and spending some time at the ER. I’m not sure anyone signs him next year. Probably the end!!!

Does what happened in Buffalo tonight really help sell the NHL? Looks more like someone in the situation room made the wrong bet.

never realized until just now that if you pull your goalie in o/t for an extra skater (other than if a penalty was called) and you get scored on, you get zero points instead of the single loser point.
so that was a ballsy move by minny.
desperate times call for desperate measures i guess.

That ranger player rempe needs to be suspended for life. Nothing but a dirty player. Guy’s a joke. Too young and stupid to realize they’re using him as a punchline (pun not intended). So now there has to be an arms race around the NHL, every team has to carry some useless player so we can have staged fights every game again?

Yeah, that was a clear elbow. Very dirty play. I'm fine with physical players, but he needs to cut that type of shit out.

The Hawks and Pens each won three cups, close as you can get to a dynasty in the cap era. Looks at the Pens, bringing in a new GM Dubas and he tries to do what the former Hawks GM did (reload on the fly) and now it appears the Pens turn to rebuild. With Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin and Kris Letang towards the sunset of their NHL careers, there was no help at last week's trade deadline. Instead, GM Kyle Dubas entered seller mode and traded away one of the club's top players in Jake Guentzel to bring in assets to help the future and now reports are he might look or should trade Erik Karlsson with Ottawa and others being mentioned.
He (Dubas) is another example of hanging on to an aging core and going for another cup run. I guess these guys (Dubas) never learn. Maybe it goes back to them being the smartest person in the room, but surely not feeling sorry for him or the Pens fans. Pens have to pay Letang until 42, Maklin is a shell of himself and yes Crosby continues to play at a high level, not sure how he feels of the rebuild. I know he was not happy about the trade of his former prolific scorer in Guentzel. Does Crosby want to be part of a rebuild with a few more goods years ahead?

There are articles saying Crosby will waive his NMC to certain teams if it helps Pittsburgh rebuild faster. I read that as “i want to be traded to a contending team”

Four games. Kid will be a footnote soon if he can’t reign it in.

Most not on Dubas Hex signed the Malkin and Letang contracts Dubas then made the Ek mistake. Pens will get Celebrini and reload. But they didnt get a ton for Gets 3 prospects were all mid second rounders.

There's nothing wrong with playing physical, but that elbow shit is unacceptable. Fight all you want and keep it legal. I think 4 games is fair, I thought he'd only get 2.

I hope Kaner can rattle off another 20 points this year. Get him within striking distance next for the record. But….. he really should take a loooooong summer to rest up!!!

I could see him signing a 2 year deal at 12 million. Or a 6 million cap hit. He more than likely will want fair market value this time around!!!

Gawd damn Alex Nylander has 8 goals and 3 assists in 11 games this year with the jackets and is a +6.
He's got over 1/3 of his nhl career goals in those 11 games.

Pretty crazy numbers from a game yesterday.
TB won the game 5-3 despite being outshot 50-16.
