Top FA left are Tarasenko, Sprong, Roslovic and Pavelski.
Still need a 2C, Roslovic sounds nice

Question for the group: Which free agent contract do you believe was the "worst" signing yesterday? My vote: Ellias Lindholm, 7 years x $7.75M, will be 30 in December Lindholm's play the last two seasons has left a lot to be desired and does not resemble when he was a Selke finalist a couple of years ago. IMO, he needs a superstar to play with to be effective, is Pastrnak that guy? Will he regain the Selke form again playing with Pastrnak? Boston has been searching for centers since Bergeron and Krejci left and retired. Can Lindholm fill the void left by Bergeron and Krejci? Btw, I think Dallas signing Matt Duchene for 1 year at $3M was one of the best values yesterday. Sean Monahan signed for 5 years and almost double AAV. Lindholm deal is rough I tell ya! But I think Tanev is also bad. If that thing is front loaded, or even Lindholm. Then ok. They’ll have a few bucks at the end to let go. But that won’t hurt as they’ll retire and It wont hurt the cap as they’re both under 35. But if they’re not front loaded. Ooooooh boy. That’s a lot of cap to suffer through. Cuz I doubt either retires as they wanna get their F****** money!!!

Lindholm surely hasn't been as good the past two years, but he also lost Tkachuk in that time frame. he might look a little better playing with Pasta on that pp.

Frankly, not sure what Ron Francis is thinking or doing here; that is a lot of term for a guy who many believe to already be on the downswing. Stephensen is more of a playmaker than scorer is good for about 50 points a year and is not known for his defense. Kraken paying him as 2LC when he probably is more a 3LC, although that role is more of a checking, which Stephenson is not really that type of player. I think Francis will regret this signing in a few years, assuming Berniers and Shane Wright take over the top 2 center roles.

It seems the blows are scraping worse than the bottom of the barrel. They will be void of real players soon and of playoff appearances. They’ll be awful again very soon!!!

Blues taking on Joseph from Sens probably helped them sign Pinto.

I was probably the only one here who was somewhat hoping Entwistle would be back next year. I felt like he was starting to buy into a bottom-six role, big body, wasn't afraid to throw a hit. I think he'll do well on Florida.

Lundell signed by Panthers, reports are 5m x 6 Once again Panthers and Bolts taking discounts (Hedman took only $8M yesterday and shorter term of 4 years), Lundell is only 23 years old so 6 years is fine and $5M will be a bargain in another year or two.

To say it’s unfair is rather childish but the Florida state teams can constantly circumvent the cap due to the state with no taxes. This will always be a signing tactic to bring players over, as for Canadian teams, this could become rather frustrating due to the high taxes in Canada. The league should find a way to make it even across the board.

Oiler's best moves lately have been made without a g.m.
