Well Quennville had 2 goals during the game, give him a shot. Plus note Boqvist had 3 assists.

Bit of a stinker from Lankinen? But 3 PP goals. Nice fourth line game. It’s too bad Wedin is a bit old to be considered a prospect, he almost made the team out of camp and he’s having a nice introductory season in N.A.

Well Quennville had 2 goals during the game, give him a shot. Plus note Boqvist had 3 assists. Quenneville has 5 goals now in 7 games since returning from injury. And I’m betting they were all scored within 3 feet of the blue paint. Just seems like that kind of player.

My mistake so he really only has 3 total.

Nice to see he's scoring and going to the net.

Hogs were down 2-0 after 1 but only gave up 11 shots in the next 2 periods, they scored 2 in the 3rd and won it in ot👍
Boqvist with assists on the 1st and gwg goals.
Just watched the highlights, I'm sure GT will provide them 😁, SA scored on their 1st shot and with seconds to go in the first period off a faceoff win.
Boqvist with a sweet assist on the first goal and it gave Cramarossa his first point. With 3secs left the Hogs tied it and then Boqvist sent in Nilsson on a breakaway to start OT and game over.

delia has an .863 save % and a 4.09 gaa. lankinen's at .919 and 2.69. tompkins at .915 and 2.48.
hopefully both play in rockford the whole year but if one of crow/lehner go down, i hope it's lankinen that gets the nod. imo he's a bit small for an nhl goalie (6'2", 190) but delia's fallen off the map early in it seems.

Khudobin is only 5’11’, 2.47, .919, 199 games career, Anti Raanta, 6’0”, career 160 games, 2.36, .921 are two decent examples of smaller goalies with some success in the league, but yeah most teams want big shot blockers. I opt for Lankinen too at this time.

I opt for Lankinen too at this time. there's always exceptions and those are good ones. there's 9 goalies out of 69 that have played this year that are 6' or under. besides the 2 you mentioned you have saros, halak, pavel francouz, dell, bernier, stalock and hutton. out of those 9 only 2 have lost more games than they've won this year but there really aren't any giant killers among the bunch. the big ticket boys are all tall. weight doesn't seem to matter so much because the 5 lightest goalies in the league (ryan miller(the lightest at 170 lbs.), binnington, rask, georgiev and matt murray) are all over 6 feet. just my preference. i like the big tall goalies. btw...lehner is the heaviest at 240 pounds. 3" shorter than the tallest goalies (bishop and mikko koskinen) but 30 pounds heavier than bishop and 38 more than koskinen. hedman was lucky he never ran into lehner instead of bishop a few years back when we played TB in the finals (sharpie's goal). there'd be nothing left of hedman. : )

I’ve never really been a fan of Delia. I think Lankinen is a far better choice. Now the question is do the Hawks bring back both of the big clubs guys next year? I think with Lankinen almost ready, it’s best to let one go. CC will want roughly what he gets now, and rightfully so. He’ll be on a one year deal for sure, due to health concerns and the 35 and older rule. While I’ve been heavily impressed with Lehner, I’m not sure this team needs another 8 year 8+ million contract. I’d got 5 at most with him. If not, thank you and good luck. Then I’d ride CC and Lankinen next year!!!

But, that's probably who we'll see next year because someone will definitely overpay for Lehner and hopefully Stan doesn't give out a Bobrovsky-type contract just to win a bidding war

At Crows age is he good for 50 or more games if the rookie can start 25 to 30? Hawks afterall will still basically have the same defense, just older.

If Highmore stays up and now Wedin joins him I wonder who gets to play. Haven't seen Soderlund's name on a game sheet in awhile.

Here are his stats per game. theahl.com/stats/player/8008Per the link, Soderlund has zero shots on goal in his 7 games. That makes me wonder about his ice time. Something i noticed is there were 12 days between his first and second games, which means he sat out three games between game 1 and 2. As of today, Nov.29, it's been 14 days since he last played, which means Soderlund has sat out 4 games so far since his last game, which could be 5 if he doesn't play tonight. With his speed and offensive skills, I would be curious if he's struggling to adjust to bigger rinks and the minor league pro game or if he's just not having an impact. Maybe someone will get to watch him and see how does.

He's not exactly a giant at 5'-9" 163LBS.

You have a point about if TS may be going back and forth between Rockford and Indy. Just recently, Soderlund last played on Nov. 15 and has sat all 4 games Rockford has played since then. He's not going to improve if he sits in the pressbox and watches 4 games in a row, or more, before playing again.
When you're sitting out more games than you're playing, it's hard to see how a player is going to develop very much. I guess we'll just have to wait and see if anything changes and TS begins to translate his skills or if things continue to go like they've been going.

Thanks GT. Unless Soderlund has been injured, and I really don't think he has been, apparently he's been doing a lot of sitting.
