Joey has become the king of the cross-crease pass.
Strange seeing Carpy out there too. Glad he's still playing.

Now they get destroyed 7-2, Stauber looked terrible in camp and in this game.
Lots of negative numbers, Roos shouldn't be on the top2, not even the top4.
But Del Mastro got his first point, only positive.

But Del Mastro got his first point, only positive. He did have 49 shots and there were some nice tips and such. Team looked pretty weak around him. But both he and Commesso are going to get a lot of work, especially if their defensive game looks as bad as it did tonight.

man, the schedule in the "A" is messed up.
hogs play back to backs in SJ, the 6 days off. then 1 game at home followed by 5 days off. then back to backs at home followed by another 6 days off.
it more or less returns to normal after that but there are still 5 more 5 day breaks (one is the all star break) and another 6 day break.
also, they play 3 games in a row 4 times.

Ewwww. Horrible schedule. i'm not going to check other teams but i think that's just business as usual in the AHL. You're thinking appears to be correct. I randomly picked out the Cleveland Monsters in a different division than Rockford and looked at their schedule and it was pretty much like Rockford. Cleveland opened the season with a back to back, then were off five days, then another back to back, then off six days, then a back to back, then off three days, then three games in four days. That seems a little more like a college schedule when the players have classes and practice during the week then play back to back on Fri.-Sat. To add: If I read correctly, Minnesota vs Wisconsin will be televised by the Big Ten Network on both Thurs. the 26th and on Fri. the 27th. Minn. and Wisc. both show "TV" for these two games, and the Big Ten Network schedule shows both games. I don't know how widely spread the BTN is but I get it on Dish. It will be a chance to watch Oliver Moore and Sam Rinzel.

crow to be honored in rockford february 10th. The Rockford IceHogs announced this evening during the third period of tonight's game against the Chicago Wolves that Corey Crawford, Steve Martinson, and J.F. Rivard will make up the inaugural class for the Rockford IceHogs' Ring of Honor.
Crawford played three seasons with the IceHogs from 2007 to 2010 and holds the IceHogs all-time AHL records for most games played (147), minutes (8,235), saves (3,790), wins (75), shootout wins (13), and overtime wins (9). He also ranks second in career AHL shutouts, ninth in career AHL save percentage (.910), and sixth in career AHL goals-against average (2.67).
During and after his development in Rockford, Crawford went on to play 488 NHL games, all with the Chicago Blackhawks, over parts of 14 seasons from 2006 to 2020. The Montreal, Quebec native helped lead Chicago to two Stanley Cup Championships in 2013 and 2015. Crawford also was twice named an NHL All-Star and twice named a Jennings Trophy winner for holding the lowest goals-against average in the NHL.

Hogs up 3-0 against the baby Wild. Here’s Rolston’s second pro goal. I like those Screw City sweaters.

Rolston also had an assist on a goal by Teply and was the first star of the game.
Stauber was in net and had 22 saves on 24 shots. You don't see it in the highlight video but he got a second assist on the first IceHog goal.

Hogs are looking good these past couple. Wonder where Dach is going to fit. think third line to start Not sure who he’d replace, maybe the 28 yr.old Braddock who seems to be holding down the deterrent position. Saarela looked like a scratch last game and the other lines look like they are producing. Someone is going to have to platoon or go down to Indy.

Is Marcel Marcel about ready to come back? As I recall he was to be out about two weeks and it's now been three weeks. Maybe he's been getting in some conditioning to help get back in shape? Or practicing how to get out of the penalty box?
