Why can’t they update their website? They list 6 or 7 guys with the same birth date and height and weight. Hawks site isn’t exactly first rate either.

Is Marcel Marcel about ready to come back? As I recall he was to be out about two weeks and it's now been three weeks. Maybe he's been getting in some conditioning to help get back in shape? Or practicing how to get out of the penalty box? Did I miss a goaltending injury? Why is Weeks called up? |

Will be interesting to see where Marcel and Dach fit in this upcoming weekend against the Manitoba moose. Wonder if they have their skating legs under them yet.

hopefully 6'8" defenseman louis crevier has a longer and more impactful career with chicago than 6'8" defenseman viktor svedberg did. good read, thnx. |

Crevier would probably be happy to get into 27 NHL games like Svedberg managed. Seventh round picks are pretty much shackled with low expectations. Hopefully he overcomes those. |

Crevier had two 10 goal seasons and 6 in 20+gms his third year. 10g-26a in his last season as the captain, and +41 and voted as the best defensive dman. Not to mention 4g-6a in 12 playoff games that year. Plus he's a righty, harder to find. Svedberd looked lost out there and an awkward skater, Crevier is a smart young man and he's agile plus he really improved his speed, he's still a long shot but Luke likes him and he could be a 3rd pair guy. |

Does Crevier have a lot of similarities with Harding, aside from their height? I've never really looked at the two as a comparison ability wise, despite similarities in height/size, although I thought Harding was a little heavier. I thought they were both defensive types that shot from opposite sides. I seem to recall from highlights on here that Harding played on the right side. I can't really remember about Crevier from Rockford highlights. |

I like the big guy too, but he’s got a lot to overcome. Someone taken that late always needs to prove themselves more than a first or second rounder, those guys get a lot more latitude. He’s already got Vlasic, Korchinski, Kaiser, Philips and now Del Mastro and Allan in front of him. Plus he’s the last guy’s pick so not really on the front page. There’s a place for a true defender and I’m pulling for him. |

Were Rolston and Marcel scratched for this game? The AHL site didn't show either one under the Rockford skaters. Rolston has 2 g's and 1a, so it seems a bit odd for him to sit out, unless maybe he got some sort of injury last night.

One interesting tidbit was Cole Guttman's 3rd. pd. penalty. He got a 10 min. misconduct for "Abuse of officials."
