Those were good shots by both EDM and Kaiser. Del Mastro looked like he got all of his 205lbs. into his shot.
It was good to see Kaiser jump up into the play; maybe this game will help jumpstart him.

hogs snap a 7 game losing streak on the night of crow's sweater raising. hardman with a SHG and an ESG in a 2-1 win. stauber stops 15 of 16, hogs poured 35 shots on chicago's net. couple things...not sure why hardman hasn't been given a shot with the big club. the other thing is i bet the hogs wish they held on to rocco grimaldi. tied for 3rd in the A w/22 goals. could have used that offense in rockford this year. hog's leading goal scorer is hardman with 13. theahl.com/stats/game-center/1025885 |

Dach looked fine in his return. EDM and Allen looked solid Kaiser seems to have regressed. I would like Hardman to get 11s ice time and see how he does. Crow stuff was done real well was great to see him smiling with his kids!!

Crow stuff was done real well was great to see him smiling with his kids!! I know many were thinking maybe Kaiser would be another Keith. But Duncan Keith’s are very rare. He’s a Hall of Fame player. They don’t exactly grow on bushes. To me Kaiser is a kid you keep around just in case. Maybe he spends a couple more years in the farm and becomes a serviceable dman? I just think the depth chart here is stacking up and others will need chances. Kaiser had his. He obviously needs more seasoning. Same with Phillips. I’m not sure we see a lot of them in the future. I’m thinking Dach will make the big club next year. I thought he was one of the better forwards in camp. And like Korchinski, if they earn it, they earn it. It’s not not like Dach hasn’t paid any dues. He went back to Jrs and won a WJC gold. Then spent this year in the AHL. If he’s ready, he’s ready!!! |

I like how they're showing more than just goals, huge save in the second to keep it 2-1. Nice play by Guttman to get it to Kaiser who fired a perfect shot for Seneys tip. Del Mastro set up a nice one timer and great seeing Hardman in front getting the rebound. And good work by Seney behind the net finding Del Mastro who did a perfect give and go with Guttman for the OT GWG. Ethan will be a Hawk next season. |

Or keep him in Rockford and let him continue his bounce back season then give him a look next season. not 100% sure how the playoffs work in the A and i'm too lazy to check, but they're 13th in their conference and 6 points out 8th. if the hogs don't make it to the playoffs, i hope the opportunity arises and hardman gets another look with the hawks. better though that the hogs make a run and he can play some meaningful playoff games in rockford. |

With Bedard, and hopefully some more guys coming back, Rockford will have more help. With the last 2gms it should give them some momentum.
