nice win despite just having 8 shots in the last 2 periods. allan, dach (ppg), cates and the goalie were the scorers. stauber stopped all 24 shots and is the first goalie in AHL history to couple scoring a goal with a shutout. lots of rough stuff in the 2nd period by the looks of it. theahl.com/stats/game-center/1025909can't find jackson cates' goal but he did this last month and it was pretty cool. |

I turned the game on late so didn't see the Allan kerfuffle but I know from watching a lot of Seattle last year that Allan is willing and able and handles himself pretty well.
I saw something that I'm pretty sure I've never seen before - a goalie leading the parade to get high-5's from the bench after scoring a goal - it was awesome.

Players didn't skate by the bench for first bumps after a goal when Hextall and Brodeur played, first time I saw a goalie do it. Why not, it's rare but it's a goal. |

well, the humble little 3 game winning streak came to an end, hogs lost 3-2 in regulation. it appears it got away from them in the 3rd getting outshot 18-7 and outscored 2 to 1. pitlick and seney scored the goals. commesso stopped 33 of 36. theahl.com/stats/game-center/1025920 |

They should send Soderblom down as well and call up Stauber. And give the kid more than 2-3 starts a month if they do. All GT's,especially young ones,need to work through struggles and learn to put a bad stat behind em and that's hard to do when you don't know when you'll get that next start. |

They were splitting time but Soderblom hasn't played well and Mrazek has, now Arvid isn't playing much and really bad when he does. So he should be sent down and try and earn the net there, and get some confidence. |
