To add to OTH's post, Misiak, Lardis, and Savoie will play tomorrow. It's going to be a busy few days for all the Blackhawk prospects in juniors and NCAA. Hopefully Lardis is back from injury so he gets some games in before the season ends. I think it was Eaton that said they expect him back in the playoffs. I watched him a lot before his injury and was really impressed with his speed/quickness and shot. He's still skinny so not ready for the Bigs yet but with his skating and goal scoring ability he could be a top-6 winger for the Hawks in 2-3 years. Big day of hockey watching. Yeah baby! I started off my watching by catching the 3rd period of Kantserov's game. He had an assist but he got that before I tuned in. My takeaway is he is very fast and is on the puck all over the ice. Backchecks and forechecks and hints the puck very well. He plays with a relentless motor - very nice. Oh, and he has good hands too so offense will not be a problem. er, it's good you mentioned Kansterov. After all, he's also a young Blackhawk prospect that's currently in the playoffs. I like reading that about him. It appears he has more than just offense to his game. What's also good is he's doing this at 19 in the top Russian pro league.

Thanks GT We're a long way from being able to assess the Hawks 2023 draft class but there is great promise that it could be the best class the Hawks ever had. Obviously it starts with Bedard but then there is Moore, Gajan, Kantserov, Misiak and Lardis. All of those guys have huge upsides. I'd add the other 3rd rounder as well, Felcman. 6'4" with a solid 2way game. He signed a PTO with the Hogs recently, it'll be good for him to come to North America. Even if he doesn't play it's valuable experience practicing with future Hawks. Even the 4th and 5th rounders have upside, Pharand and Marcel², big boys with good hands.

Greene scored a beauty, they're up 4-2 near the end of the second.
Green stripped the puck in the D zone along the boards, chipped it off the boards around the dman, picked it up and went right to left across the neutral zone to create a 2 on 1. He got to the top of the left circle and curled it in and sniped it.
Davidson should get him signed when his season ends.
If the Hawks get lucky and land Celebrini, those two would be reunited in Chicago. Bedard with those two on the PP would be deadly.

Hayes scored the GWG in a 4-3 win, he also had a primary assist.
Ludwinski was held pointless in a 4-2 loss.

Here are the goals from Ryan Greene and Gavin Hayes. Greene's goal starts about 2:02. In basketball you'll sometimes hear a term "nothing but net" when a shot goes in. Greene really ripped his shot and when the goalie tried to snare the puck with his glove, he got 'nothing but air.' Hayes goal starts about 1:39. He used a little finesse. chl.ca/ohl/gamecentre/27210/

It was fun to hear the announcers in the game yesterday talking about Greene and Celebrini working on their one-timers together after practice - they had to be chased off the ice. Sweet dreams.

Just turned on the Brantford game to see if Lardis was back and - YES, HE'S BACK! Already has 2 goals too. Very exciting to have him back - I'm as high on him as any Hawks prospect even though most likely he's still a year away from being physically ready for the NHL.

I thought he looked a little winded toward the end of the game and got a little too casual with the puck a couple times but considering he hasn't played a game in almost 3 months I think we can excuse him running out of gas at the end.

Led the team in scoring, 36-46=82 pts.

North Dakota was 20-0 when leading after 2 periods this season, until Michigan beat them 4-3 yesterday. Huge win for Nazar and the boys.

Nazar at 2:28. He was in just the right place at just the right time.
Michigan's win means all six Hawk prospects have advanced. However Boston U. plays Minnesota next Sat., at 6:30pm Eastern.

I thought there were five? Moore, Nazar, Greene, Thompson, Rinzel. And Nazar did the right thing, hang out around the net and good things will happen.

Here are Nick Lardis' two goals and assist. He scored the first two Brantford goals so they're the first two highlights. The assist comes at 4:13. Lardis couldn't have done much more in coming back than score two goals, get an assist, and be named 1st star of the game. And also have 6 SOG. chl.ca/ohl/gamecentre/27212/

You're forgetting Aidan Thompson. Somehow I had six stuck in my mind. I think when looking at the Hawks non-junior prospects involved in playoffs, I was adding in Kansterov, which made six. The game was a good example how things can turn around real quick.

Just finished watching Kantserov's team (Magnitogorsk) win and advance to the semi-final round. Kantserov opened the scoring in the 3-0 win with a nice bang-bang snipe. I like watching him play - non-stop motor. By the way - guess who the coach for the other team is - Alexei Zhamnov - yes that Alexei Zhamnov. I knew he looked familiar - just older. Maybe they would have won the series if Roenick were coach.

I doubt anyone forgets this one: Boston U. plays Minnesota tonight at 6:30pm E, 5:30pm C. It's too bad either Ryan Greene or Moore and Rinzel will have their season come to an end. Denver is currently tied 1-1 with Cornell in the 2nd.

Remember the Hawks dman draft pick from 8 or 9 years ago named Robin Press - he's leading the team in playoff scoring with 2 goals and 8 assists.

Aidan Thompson is now going to the finals. So at the end of today's games it means there will be at a minimum two Blackhawk prospects in the finals if BU wins, and three if UMinn. wins. And Michigan plays tomorrow.

Rinzel with an early apple. 1-0 gophers With the size the Hawks have and have coming. I’m really leaning towards Zayne Parekh. I look at Vlasic (6’6”). Korchinski (6’2”). EDM (6’4”). Seth (6’4”) Allan (6’3”). And then Parekh (6’). Eventually Rinzel may be there at 6’4”. Ideally it’d be great to unload Seth in the future when he’s got 4 years left and let Rinzel take over for him. If a forward isn’t taken this year. They should really load up next year with them!!!

Ryan Greene joining Aidan Thompson means they will face each other in their semifinal game. So at least one Blackhawk prospect will get to play for the Frozen Four championship.
We'll see tomorrow if Nazar advances.
