There are pics of the prospects arriving yesterday for practice, Del Mastro and Allan walked in together and Allan is looking jacked. Both guys could get ice time with the Hawks this season.

Thank for the link GT! Took a while to type it in the new TV but well worth it. Late watch but great to watch hockey again. Really enjoyed watching AJ play not just his goal but speed and physicality can't wait to see where he is at in 2 years.Ludwinski with some good hustle plays. Lardass being Lardass and scoring. Hoping Nascar plays a better game tomorrow. All in all a nice showing by the kids, GT if you could post the link again for next game that would be great will be another late watch. Go Hawks

It's fun to watch the sexy prospects but I thought Slaggert and Ludwinsky played solid and mature games. One thing to keep in mind. Some players just will never play the all around game. Nazar reminds me of that type of guy. He looks like he may be a full offense type player. And that’s ok, as long as you’ve got guys like Slags and Ludwinski to go out and do the dirty work. Patty Kane was never ever gonna do the dirty work. And that’s ok, he made the best of his skill set. This is why I don’t see Nazar as a centerman. Put him on the wing to score or more than likely get assists. For him to sauce that pass over to Lardis is no easy feat. So I say put him on wing. Hopefully get Safonov to come over next year. He’s 6’3” 205 centerman. Let him handle all the down low assignments. Just can’t have Bedard, Nazar and Moore as your 3 centerman!!! |

Both Nazar and Moore have the speed to burn a defenseman off the wing. That might be the best place for at least one of them. I can't see them both playing centre. |
