In all fairness, the Hawks kind of pillaged their roster. If they aren't going to play Delia anymore, maybe he should be sent back to get some ice time.

Having a taxi squad doesn't help but I thought they'd be more competitive. And yes Delia should be sent down to get ice time, let Tomkins practice with the Hawks.

I'll leave it up to JC whether Delia deserves a few more starts. On one hand, the Hawks weren't playing very well when they faced the best two teams in the division back when Delia saw a few and on the other hand,Delia looked as uncomfortable as ever back there......maybe more so.

I think Delia is gonna be a victim of the teams ebbs and flows. It is true he played when the team was awful. However, he was good for a couple bad goals a game. Right now, we have something that’s working, so why not run with it until it breaks? I’m know we’ve discussed giving KL a shot at some point. He’s got it and ain’t giving it back. So it sucks for Delia, but he may end up finding work elsewhere, every GM including Stan will literally give a guy a chance elsewhere. Whether that means to let him walk after the season and find a better opportunity or he deals him at the TDL is another story. Plain and simple. Delia got a shot and didn’t run with it. Even if the team lost. Allowing 5 goals a game was not a good impression. Especially with 2-3 bad goals per game. On the bright side, KL and Subban have definitely held the Fort, so I’d say roll with them as far as you can!!!

I think he needs to go through waivers and Hawks afraid to lose him Thought he didn't have to clear waivers, so yeah don't send him down cause someone will pick him up. Delia has good size and athletic ability plus he's laid back, injuries and cold streaks happen so maybe he'll have a bounce back game. He looked good till he fell down trying to play the puck then it unraveled. As for Rockford, maybe they'll have a similar start like Chicago, took the Hawks 5gms for their first win. A lot of new young faces, and old, plus many just played in the CHL last season and some wouldn't be there now if it wasn't for Covid, Krutil, Yetman, Phillips, Busdecker(sp) Moberg, Regula, although I think because Mo and Reg played a few seasons each they were eligible to play in the AHL this season. So hopefully they get some bounces and start getting points 🤞

Looks like it’ll be a trying year for King and company, breaking in a lot of new guys. Yetman seems to be a decent late draft and it’s good to see Moberg get in a game, I’m pulling for him. Wonder where Teply is?

Seems like this was Tompkins best and possibly last chance to prove himself and seize the reigns out there,6 allowed on 23 shots.......could Darling be much worse?

Wonder if they should have kept some AHL experience on that team. Four of their defence last night could either still be in juniors or are recent grads. Krys, with 50 or so pro games, and Franson are what is considered veteran leadership. The forwards aren’t much better off. King is coaching what is not far off a decent junior or college squad. It’s almost like tossing your kid into the lake, sink or swim I guess. This might take awhile for them to get going but they will experience it all together, that might build some camaraderie.

Glad to see Altybarmakyan score. Got some hope for him. And Moberg-Philips seemed to have a good game. Cherry broken.

Also nice to see Barratt get his first goal, plus 2 helpers.
Phillips now has 2g-1a in 5gms 👍

I’d like to find a site where they show TOI, FO’s, TKA’s, GV’s, hits, etc. so you could see who’s pulling what duties and such and who’s getting the quality ice time. It’s possible to read into some of it by the box score but I like stats.

They are offensively challeneged. It's strange that all the forwards seemed to be slumping but maybe this win and a couple first goals by some rookies gets them going.

It shows Barratt had 3pts, in on every goal 👍 he's the Hogs forward I have the highest expectations for. Maybe the future 3C but has top6 potential. Entwistle is a close second, but he's more of a bottom 6 guy. Darling looked bad in his 1 start and Tomkins looks like a bust so it's nice to see the college star, Cale Morris, step up and in 2gms he has a .941 save percentage.

I’m sure Delia was rusty, but he looked bad.

I’m sure Delia was rusty, but he looked bad. he did. his body english wasn't good either. i believe wyatt kalynuk is at 1 goal and 3 assists in 3 games with the hogs. him and barratt led with 5 shots each.

interesting news from the farm. nalimov must be reading the hogs' boxscores. let him start them all. none of the guys there now have much, if any, future on the Blackhawks.

Definitely. It seems like an odd time for him to come over though. If he would/could have at the start of the season he may have had a crack as Hawks starter right away.

interesting news from the farm. nalimov must be reading the hogs' boxscores. let him start them all. none of the guys there now have much, if any, future on the Blackhawks. Darling isn't winning the net any time soon and Tomkins looks like he took a step back, but Morris could be part of the future, he's only 24 and this is his first pro season after 4yrs in college and looked good in the Hogs first win. .941 save percentage in 3gms is a good start Namilov isn't having a good year in Russia so maybe he realizes his stock is dropping and he has no leverage, plus he's turning 28 this month, it's now or never to come to North America.
