Couple of surprises there, but all with good size and two are righties. Guess the taxi squad kept a couple of guys who were penciled in. icehogs.com/news/icehogs-add-trio-of-blackhawks-prospects-to-2020-21-rosterWonder if this is one of the reasons Franson signed on, he’s going to have his hands full mentoring a bunch of new dmen, maybe it’s his intro into coaching down the road.

Phillips was drafted in 2020 from the CHL and he's a teenager, I didn't think he was able to play in the AHL 🤔 not complaining cause he's a long shot I'm rooting for, like the other 2. Moberg is intriguing because he can also play forward, being a 7th rounder he could be a diamond in the rough. Good size, agility, and wicked shot. Krutil really impressed me at the World Juniors, reminded me of Seabrook on the blueline with his size, right handed shot, plus he plays a smart defensive game. Nice to see all 3 on the Hogs.

Early observations from King. Hope the recently demoted Teply and Kalynuk fit in there as well.

Tough -3 for Rags but most of the right names seem to show up on the scorecard.
...I was sure pulling for Seth Jarvis to fall to us, although he never would have got past the Oilers if Carolina had passed. So what’s the deal with these juniors who wouldn’t be in the AHL if juniors were playing? It seems the US part of the WHL won’t start play until March. Don’t know about the Canadian side. Do any of these games count on their contract if they go over 10 starts, or don’t they count at all since there is no where else for them to play?
