yep. Q with coach of the decade and the Blackhawks with franchise of the decade. gotta think we will be contending for a couple others as well. I won't be shocked if the 2014 wcf is the playoff series of the decade....

I'll bet a buck we see a video montage but I doubt they go overboard......how can they?LOL! I might go with the '15' WCF myself because "Nobody could withstand that!" LOL!!! That was one physical SOB though!

Van/Bos 2011 finals. Bos/Tor 2013 first round. Philly/Bos 2010. "hawks/wangs 2013. I would put all of those ahead of the 2015 wcf, and those just off the top of my head. if just series involving the 'hawks, I'd say the 2014 wcf is probably the one fans would say was the best (except 'hawks fans of course). I won't be too shocked to see a team other than the 'hawks selected here, also.

For 2014 to end because of a lucky point shot and 2 offside goals to force OT is a black eye for the NHL, after that they made offsides reviewable. Hawks were up 2-0 in the 1st then Carter was at least a foot offside and scored with a high stick then Gaborik was offside for their 3rd, no way it should've went to OT.

'splain please? wait....must be a train? aye, post game at the UC whilst living in the city meant waiting in line for one of the buses outside the UC that dropped me near the red line (the EL or the train as you said) to take up me to the north side where I resided. the bus was nearly silent for a good portion if the ride.

I'm gonna guess the game of the decade is game 7 between Boston and Toronto in 2013.

I reckon next time one comes up we should be due for a W!

But I believe this was the one that got offsides reviewed!!! That was over a year before the Hawks-Kings series. You'd think it would've been made a rule that it's reviewable the summer of 2013, if they did the Hawks would've won in 2014. Plus that game was in Feb, Hawks vs Kings was game 7 of the Conference finals and it cost the Hawks 2 goals against and 3 Cups in a row.

I'm gonna guess the event of decade was the 100 year celebration in LA at the 2016 all star game.

good picks both but i'd take bolland's cup clincher first and then kane's second. kane's had the most significance but it was a pretty bad goal for one and it lacked that classic call because nobody knew where the bloody thing was except maybe kane and sharp and leighton. i suck at this so who knows?

I'd put the 17 seconds 3rd or 4th, maybe behind the OT winner vs the Kings in 2013. but #2 is realllll close to number 1 for me, partially because of the opponent, partially because of the situation, and partially because I was there for it...
