Too lazy to find the tweet but apparently shesterkin's camp turned down 88 million over 8 years. Not sure what to think about that. In the NHL podcast they mentioned that starting price for Igor would be Swayman plus 4M. That was prior to Swayman signing...

That was prior to Swayman signing... if that is indeed true even prior to swayman's deal. personally? i'd say f.u. igor.

I believe it was only a speaker's opinion, not the Rangers' or Igor's camp position. But if 8x11 denial is actually true, we're actually looking at such a similar final figure...

You see more now where players are getting significant money upfront as part of a bonus and that back half is low AVV, but cap hit is still high.

leafs streak of not being shutout was a league high 227 games (252 games including playoffs) going back to nov. 21st 2021. anyways...it ended tonight in montreal, their goalie montembeault stopped all 48.
at the other end of the goalie scale, edmonton's skinner got pulled tonight after allowing 5 goals on just 13 shots.

Boston didn't look very good down in Sunrise Tuesday night, but 25yro 6'4' 226lb Mark Kastelic made his Bruins debut. The Big Bruising center didn't hit the scoresheet, but he did lay six hits, win 63% of his draws, saw almost 2mins of PK time and got into a 1st period fight with AJ Greer in a little over 11mins in an effort to get his team goin'. Not a ton of TOI,but 3mins more than he averaged with Ott........Boston's gonna love this guy!

Maybe longer and a change of scenery is all they need. I’m actually worried for Boston. I think they went way too big. They have the opposite fetish the Hawks have. Maybe it works out. But I seen a slow slow and slower team the other night in Florida!!!

they don't ask how...they just ask how many.
first goal on his first shot 7:01 in his first game. he's added an assist as well in the first.

But I seen a slow slow and slower team the other night in Florida!!! The B's looked better and faster last night and my boy Kastelic is making a case for a promotion and more TOI. His 10:43 produced two goals,a +3,3 SOG's,3 hits, 3 blocks,a little PK time and he won 5 of 6 draws...........Fredric went 3 for 9,Coyle managed 5 of 13 and Lindholm won 6 of 13. Kastelic's still a RFA next summer and Boston might keep his minutes down to re-sign him cheaper but I've liked the big guy for some time. I think he has more to offer Boston.

Probably hopefully, never left his apartment… I don't think I've seen that before, crazy. Hopefully he comes back to haunt Edmonton, they're the oldest team in the league and losing young forwards for nothing won't help. I'm glad Stan is their GM

haven't searched all that much but still can't find out how these new goal sims work but i think for sure they must be wearing chips. i like how it even shows the goalie heading to join the celebration after the OTGWG.

useless factoid o' the day. i wonder how many goalies have wins against 32? I’m gonna say not many do. I have absolutely nothing to back that up. Just Tendys play less games than players. And to beat every team would be a tough thing to accomplish. Especially if a tendy wins anywhere from 20-35 games a year. Most of them are against the same opponent!!!

Last year, Marc-Andre Fleury became the first goalie in the history of the league to beat 32 different franchises when he took out the Seattle Kraken, the latest franchise to join the NHL. It was a fun moment for Fleury, who's done just about everything one could do in the league. pucksandpitchforks.com/jake-allen-breaks-a-record-in-new-jersey-devils-win-over-utah

idk. i reckon a 3-game losing streak to start the season (especially after reaching the cup finals a few short months prior) is a different dynamic than a 3 game losing streak mid-season but we'll see soon enough. flyers in edmonton tomorrow.

I sure hope we picked correctly… I have this sinking feeling that Demidov is a generational type player. We’ll see real soon what Levshunov brings. I know he’s young, but he’s gotta show something outta the gate. If he comes out and struggles for some time. The vultures will close in. Let’s hope he doesn’t look awful!!!

KfC obviously thought a lot about demidov at the draft. but we already have our quota of generational forwards. about levshunov...oh man i hope the vultures stay away.
