PK’s shooting % has to reflect some sort of nagging injury. He’s definitely not as agile and deceptive in the O-zone as he typically has been. The high minutes and lack of scoring talent around him doesn’t help but it appears there is more going on than that. True on that. Defenders still shy back a little from him because they know how Kane can burn them with a pass. If only some guys would get open fast enough for Kane to hit them with a pass and finish. |

Once the TDL comes and goes. I’d like to see a solid 7-8 Ls in a row. Get back some ground. While only 4 points out of the cellar. Hawks have a game in hand on CBJ, and 2 in hand on the Ducks. So a solid skid is what’s needed. Let’s hope!!!

what an absolute bummer, but at least this explains the strange decision to not have guttman available to the hogs for the playoffs.
anyways...if he played this good with just one healthy wing, imagine how good he'll be with two.
edit: maybe we'll see ryder rolston with the hawks? i'd think at some point if possible they'd want to stop messing with rockford's roster.

But that’s too bad about Guttman. He seems like a real find. I’ll give KD credit for that. If he can find a few gems, it lessens the burden at the draft table. If Rolston plays anything like his old man, he’ll be a nice addition too.
The one thing I always noticed about Nashville was that they always had the best middle six and 4th line. Great defense and no stars to lift them over the hump. But I really hope KD and co can find the gems at the draft that fulfill the roster needs. It’s not all top end guys. Just finish last and you’ll get some of them. It’s the other 10-12 roster spots that’ll need to be filled once these castaways are castaway!!!

Today, this miserable franchise run by bigots decided to scrap "Pride Night" and side with bigoted players Zaitsev, Kurashev and Khudobin in not wearing the rainbow jerseys during warmups.
Those 3 players didn't want to wear them cause they are of Russian descent and believe in Putin's bigotry. So instead of sitting them for a game or letting them make statements about why they didn't wear them when the rest of the team did (or might have) they just got rid of the entire thing altogether.
Pathetic. How this organization has any fans left is beyond me. If I were part of the LGBTQ community I would be livid right now.

It saddens me - in this day and age - that it remains necessary for the rainbow flag to exist. Why can't people just respect each other and mind their business?
Nevertheless, it is wrong - to my mind - to compel players (no matter how misguided or ignorant) to support a political/social cause which offend them.
For years, I have objected to the increasing jingoism and militarism at the games. We all recognize that "Support our Troops" is a political statement disguised as something else. Certainly part of the purpose is to suppress criticism about the excesses of the War on Terror/military adventurism. Pacifists have no choice but to endure the spectacle.
In fairness, those who object to forcing players to wear the rainbow sweaters should find equal fault with the camouflage sweaters and its symbolism.
