good point. couldn't agree more. the men's game has made big strides as far as parity goes, still a ways to go yet. but the women's game...like you say, it's always a 2 horse race, not good for development/interest of the game. Did anyone even know the Women’s U18’s are underway right now in Sweden? I didn’t. Just these Nela highlights led me to look it up. Might be getting closer down the road, Canada is in the final after beating Finland in OT and will play the home country Swedes who beat the U.S. Maybe parity might be just a few years away.or maybe not. canada beats sweden for the gold...10-0 in sweden. |

The Hawks were my intro to Chicago as a city but following Fergie Jenkins, being Canadian, was my catalyst for becoming a long suffering Cubs fan. This was back when the next day’s paper might bring you the box scores from the previous day and TV didn’t show many games up here until the Expos started up a couple of years later. And then watching the Cubs made me Ron Santo fan, I played 3rd base on any kind of ball team ever after. Wish I could have met either. |

I still remember Santo runnin' down the LF line,clickin' his heels after many big wins back in '69'.....till September anyway.LOL! The 8 1/2 game lead the team had on Aug 19,after Holtzman's NO-NO(I was there) disappeared when the Cubs went 8-17 the last month and the Mets? Just TWENTY THREE and SEVEN! I'll still have an occasional "Don Young' or 'Black cat' flash-back. |

Went to game day skate today I usually go to 2 a year I have never seen a group so loose. 19 with a lot of joking around looks like they have all found a way to deal with this. Was good to see!

Was good to see! right on. was wondering...are they free to attend? are they always open to the public? i've read many of the talking heads on twitter saying the same thing, that despite the losses piling up that generally the team is staying upbeat and positive. how's the hip coming around? |

i got a feeling this guy is going to be a big part of our future.
i remember troy saying when he was banging his stick looking for the return pass that it showed his confidence.

forget about the 1-6 score at the time...i think this goal deserves a spot of it's own. i got a feeling this guy is going to be a big part of our future. i remember troy saying when he was banging his stick looking for the return pass that it showed his confidence. keep your eye on this kid. I've been down on our D, and I'm still not convinced we have a good 1 or 2 there yet, but if guys like Isaak prove me wrone all the better. Kid deserved his goal qnd I hope he gets more. |

As far as KD he is on record saying he would love them to lead the rebuild but as we all know he is just playing the PR game wonder when he learned that from. |
