Agreed; although I might add Hall into the potential list. Does Hall have a house in Chi town already? Or are they going to be roommates in an apt? I don't know, but somehow I gather that it won't take THAT long to Hall to move into a place.

read an article from around the last draft about CB and his family and he said his favorite 'nucks player was Tyler Motte.
that's my kinda guy, right there.

ESPN pre draft show talking about some previous drafts beyond the #1. I had no idea in the year the Hawks selected Teravainen the next pick was Tampa, who selected Vasilevski.

Looked like Bedard was signing his ELC at the Hawks table.

maybe already mentioned, too lazy to scroll back...but i wonder if having bedard inspires other teammates (young and older) to have better exercise/eating habits and work ethics.
i was listening to a podcast (i believe) recently, for the life of me i can't remember whose. i guess after games, bedard likes to scoot up to a wall on his back and raise his legs against the wall and stay like that for some time. nobody had seen it before, including trainers. pretty soon most of the team was doing it. can't remember if it was the pats or team canada or another team.
maybe someone else here has heard it.
anyways...just wondering if his devotion to improvement rubs off on other players? i'm thinking it would.

That made me laugh picturing more and more teammates laying on the floor with their legs up the wall. I would if I had a captain like that on my team, Bedard mentioned a few times how he's like a sponge when talking and playing with NHLers over the years, if players wanna be better why not be the same and learn what you can from Connor. Big Luke and Bedard should push all, or most, players to wanna be their best. This team might get in the playoffs in Bedards first year, especially if they get Kompher and Domi, that'll be a solid top9.

Just goes to show what this guy is made of; he wants to be the best and hopefully in addition to any eating or exercise habits, his work ethic and drive will also rub off. āI can't wait to get to work"

I'll probably watch it a few more times over the summer. The beginning looked like a Gajan highlight reel till the OT goal and heartbreaker celebration. Damn he's agile, did the full splits a few times. Can't wait to see Bedard whipping pucks on net with that long noodle stick lol

Seems like heās been in the system forever. Great shooter, big body, had such a down year, I wonder what his future holds.

only got thru about half the video but was amazed how many of his shots thru heavy traffic somehow find a path to the back of the net.

Curious if Bedard can be signed before his 18th birthday, which is July 17th. All I'm finding is a player has to turn 18 by September 5th in order to be drafted.

slow day.
this interview was done prior to the draft. some questions a bit on the dumb side but worth a watch if you're bored.
most chicagoans will be glad to hear he likes mustard on his dogs over ketchup.

It's such a big issue that Heinz changed the name of their ketchup to hot dog sauce several years ago trying to entice Chicagoans to try it.....didn't work š youtu.be/D7Avm9UOybI

Booooooooooooooo. I personally think mustard is just glorified baby poo. I donāt care much for condiments these days. But Iād take ketchup any day over mustard.
I grew up with Heinz co. In Leamington about 20 miles or 30kms away. So we grew up on ketchup. Heinz also made mustard, but they werenāt really popular for it. Even Relish they make.
Iām also not a hotdog fan. But at the Tigers games Iād get a Hebrew National. And those are some seriously good dogs. Your sodium level will climb. But you can wash it back with Wisconsinās own Summer Shandy (leinenkugel).
I will crush a dog once every year. And I do enjoy it. But gotta keep the āsnouts and end trailsā to a minimum. I hope Bedard goes full ketchup!!!
