ER, it's great to hear from you others. We're still in our fifth wheel RV, BUT, we are living on our 5-acre property. As is typical these days, the build has had its ups and downs. We had to fire our GC just this week. Ah, whatever doesn't kill ya....... Where's your acreage at - still up in the northwest? Were you traveling in the RV? I bought a Class-B RV after my wife passed and went traveling for almost 3 months and that getting away and being by myself helped me a lot. Now, the RV is sitting in my driveway for most of the past year doing nothing.  I did not know about that. Very very sorry to hear about that. Hopefully you get to use the RV again and enjoy some traveling!!! |

You’re a good man. We’re very happy to have you back!!! It's nice of you to say that and while no one can be known simply through internet posts - you can get a sense of the person. I like this site because my sense of it is there are many good men here, all with our own stories and reasons for being here but all having a common bond in our love for hockey in general and the Hawks in particular. For me - it is a sanctuary where I shut out other thoughts and simply enjoy being a Hawks fan. Life is good. agree 1000%! been good to have ya back around these parts, er! |

those would be good guesses i reckon. there has been chatter (nothing concrete) about CB possibly staying with coach luke or with president of business operations jaime faulkner who has billeted hockey players in the past. ms. faulkner has stated she'd love to have him but said that he wasn't going to be staying with her family. if it was me as a player i don't know how comfortable i'd feel staying with the head coach but that's just me. although i would hesitate to call coach luke a health freak he definitely takes good care of himself. and whoever takes on CB is going to have to be ready to eat healthy, or at least cook some healthy meals. so the richardson family would likely fit that bill. should find out pretty soon. |

After the boxing sessions Bedard said he wouldn't want to fight Luke, not many people would Connor. But he was also impressed with how Luke was right there with the prospects. As for the player who reached out, it was probably Seth, he called Connor not long after he was drafted. |

Curious if Bedard can be signed before his 18th birthday, which is July 17th. All I'm finding is a player has to turn 18 by September 5th in order to be drafted. He can sign on the 17th when he turns 18. Better for him, after what Jach Johnson's sprem donor and incubator did to him. |

So tickets went on sale for the Lightning today. So I planned on getting a ticket for the November 9th game to see Connor Bedard play live. But when the service charge is over $40 on a $53 ticket, I'll wait and watch Stubhub as the game gets closer.

Last game was with a bar group on a bus about 8 years ago. Agree. I haven’t paid my own way in years but was able to get invited to a couple of skyboxes thru work. Not only is it expensive, it’s kind of a pain to get to and from unless you live in the city or close in suburbs which I don’t. |

Really good interview of Jon Calvano who was/is Bedard's coach since the age of 5. My two biggest takeaways is Calvano says he is so much quicker/faster now than he was only 3 months ago and that he is totally invested in being a Blackhawk.
